Micro Swiss All Metal Hotend with Slotted Cooling Block for Wanhao i3 w/.4mm Nozzle

Looking at the infill during print with this hot end, I can see a finer structure than with my stock hot end. I followed the instructions about reducing retraction in my Cura profile and have had no problems with clogging.

Worked great, but now it is totally jammed. At that price I was hoping for a longer work period on this one. Ordered another head, and hope to be able to clear the main shaft (Broke my 4mm in it I think). Bummer.

If you think about buying the wanhao plus or any of the clones this upgrade is well worth the price.

This is the second time Im buying this, because the first time I bought it, the install did not go so well. I was pretty mad, and returned the product. I decided to try this again because I was running the Micro Swiss 0.4mm nozzle, and print quality has been better since. I installed this all metal hotend, and print quality has been great since! Even with a failing extruder spring (filament tends to skip because there isnt enough tension on it) prints look great! Definitely worth it. Install can be a bit difficult if it is your first time. I had an issue where the heatbreak kept coming loose when it was warmed up. It turned out I missed the step about backing the nozzle out 1/4 turn before adding the heatbreak. This seemed to solve that issue

Perfect this part turned my really good budget printer into an awesome budget printer. The workmanship on the part is top-notch and the installation kit/instructions worked perfectly. Highly recommend adding this upgrade to any Wanhao i3 or the clones out there.

I went through several different nozzles and hot ends trying to get my printer healthy again. This hot end fixed all of my problems. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ON MICRO SWISSS WEBSITE. Installation took 10 minutes and my printer is back up and running like a champ!

Ran more than a hundred hours on original not a problem. Made upgrade to see if it would better my prints... Jams in the tube... Not the nozzle... Every 3-4 hours. Not worth the money

Made a huge difference on my i3 clone. I did have to up the temp a bit but it was nice to not have to deal with the plastic tube anymore.

I followed some online guides to install and had no issues. I immediately noticed a difference. I was getting clogging and other extruder problems prior to this. I have no complaints with this. It is sad my cheap printer didnt just come with it. I feel it should come as stock with most low end printers. I cant imagine having any chance success without one
