Im really happy with this upgrade - the stock heating block doesnt seem to hold a steady temp well, and this block preheats in about half the time, meaning Im ready to start printing far sooner. The fact that it has replaceable nozzles is icing on the cake.

I found an improvement in my prints on my Duplicator I3 V2 following installation of this hotend, but what is compelling me to write here was the outstanding customer support I received from Micro Swiss. I contacted them to verify the hotend shoulder clearance above the heat block and I heard back from them with not just a boilerplate, but quality feedback, pictures, and design diagrams. They even followed up afterwards to see how Id made out. Really outstanding and refreshing in todays world where vendors toss products over the wall to consumers and turn away. Great work Micro Swiss. For anyone using this hotend, do listen to their advice about reducing your retraction settings. Im running .6 on my duplicator - if I run too much (~1.2?) the filament is liable to stick in the throat of the cooling tube and Ill need to disassemble in order to get it out. Once I figured this out Ive been able to run more quickly and cleanly than I did on the OEM hotend (specifically 3200/min using PETG). Good luck.

The Micro Swiss all metal hot end along with the machined lever and A2 extruder head drastically increased the quality of my prints Highly recommend to anyone looking to replace their extruder head. My Printer: Monoprice Maker Select V2

This is the second time Im buying this, because the first time I bought it, the install did not go so well. I was pretty mad, and returned the product. I decided to try this again because I was running the Micro Swiss 0.4mm nozzle, and print quality has been better since. I installed this all metal hotend, and print quality has been great since! Even with a failing extruder spring (filament tends to skip because there isnt enough tension on it) prints look great! Definitely worth it. Install can be a bit difficult if it is your first time. I had an issue where the heatbreak kept coming loose when it was warmed up. It turned out I missed the step about backing the nozzle out 1/4 turn before adding the heatbreak. This seemed to solve that issue

Not happy that I spent this much money and had to put the old head back so I could actually print again. The nozzle arrived with a nice nick right where the hole is and after messing with this thing 20-30 times the heatbreak snapped in half. I know, you think I over tightened it but I can assure you it was metal fatigue. I bought a $10.00 no name heatbreak, threw away the crappy nozzle and now Im printing nice quality products again.

Highly recommend changing the hot end in your printer to this ASAP

Install is as easy as can be. Plug and Play. Put it in place and started printing right away. Myself have only printer PLA, same brand I was printing without problems. I dont have enough printer knowledge to say if it is the best option or not. It just works and I dont plant to change it in any way. Eager to try other materials but dont have any add of now.
