Micro Swiss All Metal Hotend with Slotted Cooling Block for Wanhao i3 w/.4mm Nozzle

Obvious tool marks and plastic on the nozzle. Tube is full of some sort of cooled filament. I put the nozzle under my microscope and it shows heavy wear, gashes and pitting. This hotend has had quite a bit of use. If you are going to sell used stuff please advertise it as used. Will be returning.

Able to print at higher temps easily and can clean with acetone

Doesnt work with printing abs. Followed their youtube instructions to setup, and printing becomes corrupted even after the bed adjustment. Does not consostently extrude ABS material...will try to return.

Obviously a used return, barrel was chewed up like it was tighted with pliers and wouldn’t fit in the block. Should have bought 10 from China for less money and at least had something I could use

So far, so great! Get this kit, not just the all-metal tube and nozzle version. The block is much better than the stock version on my monoprice.

Absolute Crap. Does not print and repeatedly clogs. No successful print yet. Not even a single layer. Followed instruction and backed off 1/4 turn and retightened after heating.

This is the single best upgrade I have done on the Maker Select V2. Worth every penny.

Ive only got a few days on mine, but so far its working well. It only takes a few minutes to install (maybe a little longer if youre not as comfortable taking things apart and putting them back together). I did add some thermal compound on mine, to make sure the cold end stays good and cold. I had to reduce my retraction. 1mm is working well for PLA. Ive been using 1.5mm with PETG and TPU without any issues so far (but limited prints). I did not have to change my temps at all - it seems to be holding very similar to my previous hot end. It does seem somewhat overpriced for the few small pieces, but ultimately it works.

This thing is a godsend. If you have a 3D printer and want quality prints, this is an absolute must have. No excuses. This works so much better than stock.
