> 3 dayLooked like a logical upgrade. Dont know, because I never got it to work, turning the whole printer into junk.

Greater than one weekMy prints were mostly coming out fine, as long as I was using PLA. But once I started using PETG, I started having issues, mostly just prints not completing. After this upgrade, I can start a PETG print and just walk away. Adhesion is perfect, and the rest of the print finishes flawlessly. Make sure to adjust your refraction settings to 1.5mm as the instructions say, and you should have no issues.

> 3 daybe very very careful cleaning this hotend! I purchased it less than 3 months ago and have stripped the grub screws. it is junk now. cant find anything about a warranty on amazon. Im going to look at the MS website. probably doesnt cover my issue though

> 3 dayDon’t use flexible PLA with this, not matter how many adjustments I made the extruder would allow the Filament to escape and make a larger mess.

> 3 dayIf you want to be totally unable to print PLA, get this. It clogs all the time. Heat creep is a major issue and the hot end is completely worthless. So either get a bimetal heat break or stay with what you have. The direct drive bracket is kind of nice. Light and solid. Im unsure about the extruder since the clogs stop me from using it. Worst upgrade Ive ever bought.

> 3 dayworks great on replacement for ender 3 pro. also had the hole predrilled to install BL touch. Thing to remember is to down load the firmware to change the gear/ratio to 130 to prevent over/under extruding.

> 3 dayI purchased this, primarily, to make printing flexible materials easier for the Ender. I know that there are better extruders that help, but my two other printers are direct drive and I never have any issues with them. You will have to print a little slower with the extra weight on the gantry, but slower is the way to print flexibles successfully anyhow. Just remember to calibrate your esteps and change your retraction settings in your slicer.

> 3 dayUpdate: After directly contacting micro Swiss they sent me the replacement parts for what had broken while following their installation guide. They specified that the nozzle should only be finger tight which is working perfectly. After modifying the stepper settings for the extruder my Ender 3 Pro is ripping and having no issues printing PLA or TPU with superb print quality. Initial Review: I recently purchased this direct drive with the all metal hotend. I was following the steps to fully seat the nozzle and immediately the nozzle ripped off of the hotend. I read the installation manual and even had watched the video tutorial for reference. I’m going to be honest I’m extremely disappointed as this was not a cheep part and should not have broken so easily. Is there a way that the pictured parts can be replaced or at least that I could order only the pieces that are unusable.

> 3 dayI used this to replace a worn out extruder on a Tevo Tornado (CR10 Clone). The process went very smoothly and after adjusting the Z Offset its been printing beautifully. Im using this system to print Taulman 230 Nylon and the direct drive handles this filament very well. If youre thinking about converting a Bowden system to a direct drive Id highly recommend this one.
