I ordered 10 male + 10 female with 18 gauge wires. They actually sent 12 male + 10 female Anyways, hooked a female up to a small car stereo amplifier (5a fuse) and its working fine. It is stupid that car stereos require splicing wires instead of appropriate plugs. Anyways the wires all look good, and the 2 plugs work fine so far.

Solid, smooth, tight connection. Wires are thick enough to twist with fingers after stripping insulation. No thin wires here buddy!

The insulation is very thick for an 18 gage wire. Well made... works as expected. I’d buy again.

Have had three of these fail on me when using to control 12v motors. They are super convenient, just not reliable. Might be poor QC of the barrel connectors.

Ive gotten in the habit of testing parts before using them with expensive equipment. The VERY FIRST male connector I tested failed the continuity test! Both the red and black wires tested positive for both parts (outside and inside) of the connector. I tested and used two other connectors, which were fine. I just think its odd that the first connector I tested failed and wonder how many other connectors are faulty. Update: The vendor, MILAPEAK, claims that they will provide a full refund and requested more stars in return. However, I am not updating my rating because of the possible damage and confusion a short resulting from the faulty part may have caused me. The potential damage and loss of time from poor quality control would have far outweighed the cost of the part.

Has enough resistance so the connectors dont detach, stays connected.

Use them everywhere

If you count all useless rubber jacking in, that is 18AWG.

Nothing did I dislike and these connectors made the grade as compared 2 the other type I tried. I like the connection and the color coded wires connected 2 these

Once again, Caveat Emptor. These are NOT 18 AWG. They are marked 0.6 metric which equates to somewhere around 20-22 AWG at best (several conversion websites disagree on size). Returning!
