> 3 dayThe 3.5 jack didnt insert the last sleeve, it felt like the jack had bottomed out as if the female end wasnt deep enough. I re-read the description that said it would take the TRRS jack. After twisting, turning and pushing the jack harder, it snapped in and works fine. It appears the Dell e6540 sound system is not stereo capable, USB or 3.5 pin. My Win 7 and a Beta Win 10 e6430 latitudes deliver great stereo from YouTube videos, with and without the converter.

> 3 dayThis is a convenient little cable. I bought 4 of them. You dont always have an audio jack but you usually have a USB jack. This cable makes it convenient.

Greater than one weekThe product does exactly what the description says, so thats good. I mistakenly thought that with a powered hub I could plug my small Logitech speakers in, but it didnt work. It did work fine with earbuds. I would hesitate after this to try and plug anything into it that had much more impedance than earbuds or a tiny headset.

08-06-2025Used this on my asus laptop because headphone jack that came with it stop working. It was an easy fix to plug this into a USB port so I could listen to music again.

> 3 dayWell made. phono socket was snug, unlike some that are loose and intermittant. Was much louder than connecting with just phono plug.

> 3 dayItem worked but the USB end of the cable has a metal cover that has come loose and is sliding. Cable is still work but this problem concerns me in that it might not survive as long as I would need it to.

> 3 dayIt was easy peasy! I just plugged it into one of my USB ports on the back of my tower, plugged the jack into it, and then restarted it. That is all it takes to make it work! If you just plug it in it might not work. It didnt for me until I restarted it.

> 3 dayI have a very old set of Bose computer with the old audio jack plug…I needed something to bridge the old and new tech, and this worked like a charm. I have expected it to not work, or that I would need some plug-in software or whatever…but it was plug and play. Good stuff and I recommend this for anyone who has a situation like I described.
