Greater than one weekThe 3.5 jack didnt insert the last sleeve, it felt like the jack had bottomed out as if the female end wasnt deep enough. I re-read the description that said it would take the TRRS jack. After twisting, turning and pushing the jack harder, it snapped in and works fine. It appears the Dell e6540 sound system is not stereo capable, USB or 3.5 pin. My Win 7 and a Beta Win 10 e6430 latitudes deliver great stereo from YouTube videos, with and without the converter.

> 3 dayDue to the pandemic I am working from home. I am joining work calls all day via zoom. I was not able to connect any headphones to my laptop. This is perfect, exactly what I needed. Im able to connect my iPhone headphones to my dell laptop to join calls. It works perfect.

> 3 dayI use this with my work headphones in order to teach classes. I did not lose any clarity with the jack and my students hear me perfectly when talking and I can understand all of them when they speak now. My computer speaker was not allowing me to hear voices as clearly as I needed.

> 3 dayI post content to YouTube and need to record video or audio with my iPad (at times). The internal microphone on an iPad cannot pick up what I want to say at greater distances. I was able to attach a tiny boom microphone to my iPad using this adapter. Now I can grab the audio I need while sitting in a comfortable position. This product works the way I would expect it to work. [I also use another attachment in addition to this one. This adapter does not go directly into the iPad.]

Greater than one weekWorked okay until it stopped working. Ive had this cord for about a month now and though the audio I hear out isnt the absolute best I can deal with it because its a 10 dollar adapter cord I bought off of amazon. But just recently it broke. It has a short in it and makes this horrible high pitched staticky noise. Dont know if Ill be buying another one. May just have to look for a usb pair of headphones or something.

> 3 dayThis cable allowed me to connect audio through my usb-c hub so that I have one thing to plug in when I sit down with my laptop. I also now have a free audio input on my Macbook so that I can have a headset mic and separate speaker hooked up. I like to do this sometimes because the audio on my speakers is amazing, and the headset is mediocre. The audio quality of the mic through this adapter is great. I had to turn up the gain in my computers audio input settings to get the volume I wanted for my headset mic, but other than that it seems about the same audio quality as my computers input. I really like the build quality. The cable is nicely flexible. The metal audio input end feels great, and the USB end has a solid feel to it. Just feels like a premium product. Overall, it did what I wanted, I didnt have to do any setup, and it feels like it will last a long time!

> 3 dayThis works well as a solution to a faulty sound jack in my laptop. I probably will, at some point, sort out the root problem, but for now I can do Zoom meeting and now have my colleagues say Youre breaking up 5 times an hour.
