> 3 dayThey stay within a percentage point of each other, so they are accurate, or equally inaccurate at least. But I have another hygrometer in the same room and it agrees with these. So, all good.

> 3 dayOK, I just received this but I am impressed with such a simple little thing. Yes, it is a basic humidifier, and for the most part just like any out there on the market, BUT what really got me, is what came with it. First, this is a packet of two for the same price as a single one I got the week before, but wait theres more. There is also two dbl sided velcro tapes, BUT WAIT the best part by far, they also included two sets of replacement batteries. Those damn little things can be expensive, but they sent two new packs (four in total). I know, its the simple things in life, but still, who does that. Most companies wont even through in the original set, batteries not included... OK done gushing. Overall, I am happy, and they seem to be as accurate as the single one that I am returning. Happy joy joy.

> 3 dayI wanted a thermometer for upstairs and another for downstairs, but only one consistently works. The other one will occasionally show a reading, but its different from the first one even though they are side-by-side.

> 3 dayI wanted these for a cigar humidor and to use on a shelf in my room adjacent to the humidor. I was wary based on some reviews and the price point. In short, they seem to work just fine. My small humidor has an analog hygrometer which seems to read about 4% lower than this digital one placed inside the humidor (i.e. analog 68 and digital 72.) Which is more accurate I dont know, but that they basically agree tells me theyre basically working. The adjacent one reads around 58-60 as conditions change in the house. Theyll be interesting to monitor as summer comes on and we install the ACs. They came with batteries installed AND spare batteries, a huge plus since they take button cells. Also, at least in the ranges Ive seen them operate, the values change in increments of 1, not large chunks like switching from 54 to 69 etc as I read in another review. Cheap product, so your mileage may vary

> 3 dayI bought the two pack and they are cheap hygrometers but good value. They are not 100% accurate as both are in same humidor and have different readings. About a 2-4% difference.

Greater than one weekIf these ever actually die or use up the extra batteries I will buy the same ones as replacements. Just replaced the batteries in one and I’ve been using them for 11 months now. The one with dead batteries has been working overtime. It’s in a basement. In Florida. On waterfront property. So it’s been reading 99% humidity the entire time. The poor little thing is probably as exhausted and overheated as I am! I still have one more set of batteries and the other meter is still going strong. I can’t think of the last $5 I spent that lasted as long as this pair of hygrometers! They are probably not accurate enough to conduct college thesis scientific experiments, but they are CLOSE. And that’s all I needed - to get an idea of how the humidity levels in the basement compared to the rest of the house and how those levels change with the seasons and rainfall. I think the humidity readings are more accurate than the temp readings, which sometimes showed ~4• off from the thermostat BUT my purposes are really for the humidity readings. Totally satisfied with this purchase and will buy same ones again if/when this pair quits or the batteries all die. Probably the extra batteries alone are worth the total cost. #battery life excellent #accuracy close enough #happy customer

> 3 dayEDIT: Using my infrared heat gun, these were 1-2 degrees off. Not enough to matter if youre using these to gauge growing plants or keeping temperatures for a pet terrarium or similar function, but worth mentioning. Either that, or the heat gun is off. I have no way to calibrate either to know which is 100% perfect. Original post: I cannot confirm accuracy, but from using these around the house the past few weeks Id say the temperature is accurate. Both read pretty much exactly the same for temp and humidity when they are near each other. if I breath on them, the humidity level jumps quickly to 100% (OK, it only has 2 digit places so it stops at 99%), so I think they are close enough for my needs. My needs? I have a bearded dragon and that means I need to have live insects to feed him. So I have to keep the insects at a steady temperature and humidity level so they are healthy when it is time to feed my dragon. So this is perfect. I cut a little rectangular hole in the bin, pop this in and these batteries (if they are anything like the last ones I owned) will last for a few years. They sent extra batteries, but goodness knows if Ill know where they are when these original batteries eventually give out. I only needed one, so I took the other upstairs to the bedroom. The humidity was really low (its winter now), so this helped convince my wife that we needed a humidifier in the house. The first was too small, but my wife told me this morning that she could tell a difference in how she felt the following morning after the humidifier was running. I may toss this into the bearded dragon terrarium too. They need to be kept at a certain temperature and humidity level too.

> 3 dayI got this to go in my guitar case. I had alternately been over-humidifying and under-humidifying, neither of which was ideal. Where to mount it so that it wouldnt rattle around? I decided to wedge a piece of plastic from a notebook cover into the area near the storage box of the case. Then I used Velcro to attach the humidifier to the plastic, so that I could get if off to change the batteries. Good luck.

10-06-2025Ok - I received the 4 pieces I ordered. Fast. See my photos - pretty damn accurate. SO NOW - I see two batteries included for EACH UNIT, even though they have good batteries already included. ALSO - Velcro strips (stick on) for each unit included. BREAKDOWN: I paid $8 for 4 Hygrometers. Shipped! Plus I got: • FREE Batteries. (4) 2-packs would cost at dollar store = $4 • FREE Velcro tape. Would cost at dollar store = $1. • Shipping = Free (How much would that cost?) *Note: Let them sit for a while before saying they arent accurate. They respond slow, but steady. For the $$? No-brainer. I mean, chances are youre checking these periodically. Not every minute. Right?
