I use these in my jars to monitor the humidity and it works for what it is but on the back where the battery enclosure is you push it down and slide it to open or close it and the it holds the battery in and pushes it against the connectors and if the door is loose the battery wont push against the connector enough resulting in the screen being faded its nothing serious I just used a little piece of tape and put it in the back side of the door to create more pressure, pushing the battery more against the battery terminal.

A good bang for your buck, not exactly lab grade equipment (the two units does not quite agree on either humidity or temperature) but good enough for my purpose - checking if my Swamp Cooler will work.

Id buy it again because there are so many but I did have about 3 or 4 that didnt work. Some also dont match up.

I bought this so time ago and it still works! I can read it perfectly and i believe it gives me a better accuracy than other that i have bought! Will update if anything changes.

Works great for a while but then the screen went out so I tried changing the batteries and that didn’t fix it so I just bought them again and the new ones screen went out too so I might not be purchasing again but while it worked it worked great

It’s a great purchase. The original battery was dead but the second free batteries make up for that. It’s pretty accurate.

I use these in my snake enclosures to monitor tamps and humidity they work perfectly for what I needed. Great little product

It’s the second time I’ve ordered some of these digital hydrometers and they really work great and I was not expecting to have the extra batteries which is a huge plus for me. It’s always hard for me to keep up with batteries and now I have some extra ones, keep up the great work

I have 4 of these and they all work great. They all are within like 1 degree accuracy of each other. I use them for my cigars. The batteries died on one and I didnt know these had replaceable batteries. So I went and bought new batteries. Its a tough time changing them. Well the thing doesnt work now. Sometimes it will have power to it but as soon as I put the battery cover back on, nothing. So instead of replacing batteries, considering the price, Ill just buy another one and maybe Ill be able to change the batteries on my other units.

I bought this for a snail enclosure. It fell off the wall in approximately 3 hours and it had no reading on the screen. After drying it off the screen worked again. Apparently it does not work in a damp humid enclosure. It was a 2 pack and I tried both with the same results. In a dry enclosure it may work just fine.
