Works well in humidor and wine fridge

They work well with a 1% variance in humidity between the two, the temp is matching on both. I got them to monitor the humidity of my guitar since I live in a very humid area. A spare set of batteries were included thankfully, because the ones included were low and after a couple of days the readings varied widely. But a battery change solved the issue. Im happy with my purchase.

Have compared to other various hygrometers in a humidor, and these are spot on within 1%.

I use these in my jars to monitor the humidity and it works for what it is but on the back where the battery enclosure is you push it down and slide it to open or close it and the it holds the battery in and pushes it against the connectors and if the door is loose the battery wont push against the connector enough resulting in the screen being faded its nothing serious I just used a little piece of tape and put it in the back side of the door to create more pressure, pushing the battery more against the battery terminal.

Worked and lasted a while

Ordered twice at different times, four pieces total. All placed in a sealed container at the same time. After twenty four hours- Relative humidity readings dead on with each other - 70%. Temperature readings within 0.4 degrees, three reading 73.0 degrees, and the fourth reading 73.4 degrees. Conventional thermometers included in the same container read 73.1 and 73.4 degrees. Thats pretty good accuracy/repeatability considering that the units cost less than $2.50 each. For all those complaining about accuracy/repeatability, what do you expect for less than $2.50 each. Youll be spending substantially more for units that use a more accurate sensor and are individually calibrated to give more accurate readings.

The temperature seemed to be accurate as both indicated the same temperature, but the humidity readings varied by 2 +/- percentage points when sitting side by side. Still close enough for what I need. and a good price.

Does what it says on the tin. Simple, easy to read, and reasonably accurate.

I have 4 of these and they all work great. They all are within like 1 degree accuracy of each other. I use them for my cigars. The batteries died on one and I didnt know these had replaceable batteries. So I went and bought new batteries. Its a tough time changing them. Well the thing doesnt work now. Sometimes it will have power to it but as soon as I put the battery cover back on, nothing. So instead of replacing batteries, considering the price, Ill just buy another one and maybe Ill be able to change the batteries on my other units.

I got a 2 pack of these because my incubator was not displaying the correct humidity. I read all the hit-or-miss reviews and decided to risk it. Yeah, that was a mistake. On one hand, these are closer to the truth than the incubator (which still reads 20% humidity, obviously wrong). On the other hand, the temperatures are wayyyy off. That is pretty dangerous in an egg incubator. I used my instant read thermometer to compare because I was confused why, after two hours, they were still getting drastically different readings. I’m glad I did because it showed that my incubator was NOT running cold (like I thought it was, after using the sensor on the left for a few days), and was actually hotter than it should’ve been. I put this second sensor in to be sure of the temperature before making adjustments, and that’s when I discovered they are radically off. I find this strange because when they sat at my room temperature they displayed properly, but in the incubator they are inconsistent. I don’t have $20 for better sensors, but I’m mad I even wasted $6 on these. Save your money.
