> 24 hourThis stuff is amazing. Adding this to the Mirka sander means a practically dust free sanding experience. Obviously no sanding operation will every truly be dust free, but this stuff is right up there. You have to really pay attention to what you are doing since the lack of dust makes it seem like the pads arent working, but before you know it, youll be through veneer or have a rounded corner. I recommend the abranet abrasives for both the mirka and for woodturning since there is almost sanding dust clog. It is a little more expensive than regular paper, but lasts longer. You get what you pay for.

> 24 hourIf you have a Mirka Ceros (or Deros, I would presume) sander, this is simply the best bet for sanding disks. See my other reviews. The finish achieved with these sanding disks is superior, in my opinion, to paper disks. They seem to last longer, probably a function of more efficient dust/swarf removal and less heat build up.

> 24 hourMesh grit works better than paper. Decent Velcro adhesion. Overpriced for what they are.

> 24 hourI really like these mesh discs. Dust collection is excellent, they clog far less than paper discs, they seem to leave a smoother scratch pattern and last longer. The only drawback Ive found is that you need to use a pad protector inbetween the sanding pad and the disc, but thats relatively minor.

> 24 hourSeems to last forever when compared to regular sanding discs. Using it with a 5 inch Mirka pad protector and a Makita palm sander. Be sure to use a vacuum. Pricy in the beginning but cheaper in the long run.

> 24 hourThese are pretty amazing. Id been using Harbor Freight sanding discs for ages and recently got some Mirka solid sanding discs and was impressed by the improvement. I just saw these mesh discs, also from Mirka and decided to give them a try. I think theyre as much better than the standard solid Mirka discs as those were from my old HF ones. They sand unusually quickly and leave a good finish. The only problem they have is tearing. If I hit a sharp corner with the outer edge of the disc it runs the risk of tearing the disc, which then propagates quickly. Otherwise the grit lasts indefinitely as far as I can tell. Ive always torn one before the grit wore out. Im toying with running a bead of epoxy around the outer edge on the back side so that it wont tear as easily. Im afraid thatll mess with the quality of the work, though.

> 24 hourI was sanding shellac on a guitar. Did a good job but the pads didnt last as long as I had hoped given the price.
