> 3 dayAbranet is definitely longer lasting than traditional orbital sanding disks. Its the only abrasive disk i use now. For those of you interested or curious: I did purchase a big box of the Autonet to compare. My observations: stick with Abranet for wood sanding. Autonet does not last nearly as long on wood. Also, you do need to hook into dust collection to gain all the benefits of Abranet, otherwise there will be sanding dust everywhere just like any other abrasive disk.

> 3 dayI really like these mesh discs. Dust collection is excellent, they clog far less than paper discs, they seem to leave a smoother scratch pattern and last longer. The only drawback Ive found is that you need to use a pad protector inbetween the sanding pad and the disc, but thats relatively minor.

> 3 dayAbranet is great stuff, even for hand sanding as the dust passes through the grid and can be shaken off the disk.

Greater than one weekIve used regular sandpaper for years. I recently added these to my shop and I cant believe how much I love them. My sander is now connected to the vacuum system and theres minimal dust. Also, these mesh discs reduce the abrasion marks associated with sandpaper. They leave a much smoother finish. I recommend these.

12-06-2025These are amazing. So few things are this close to perfect. Virtually zero dust with my sander hooked up to a vacuum. You just shake/beat off the built-up gunk and theyre good as new. Youll get more sanding done with a single one of these than you will with a whole box of the paper ones (and more quickly because youre not constantly dusting them off or changing them out)

> 3 daySeems to last forever when compared to regular sanding discs. Using it with a 5 inch Mirka pad protector and a Makita palm sander. Be sure to use a vacuum. Pricy in the beginning but cheaper in the long run.
