> 3 dayThese mesh discs are great for final finish sanding. Fits on my Festool finish sander... no holes to match pattern for vac system. Mesh also minimizes pigtail swirls.

09-06-2025When used with an adequate vacuum it is nearly dust free. A true relief.

> 3 dayFor Mirka sanders, this is the best sandpaper you can buy. Breaths well for good suction. True to grit, fits perfectly, doesnt gum up quickly. However, it does like to tear on sharp edges. Use minimum of 120 grit for initial edgework and this 220 to finish off.

> 3 dayI’ve only used them once or twice, but so far I’m very impressed! If they hold up like I think they will, they’ll be a fantastic value. The mesh allows me to use my vacuum attachment which equals no sawdust flying around! The finish was incredibly smooth. I just bought a 6” pad, so now I’ll be looking at 6” sanding discs, and I’ll go with the same brand.

> 3 dayBecause you are using the entire disk to sand with and does not have dust hole pattern with the entire disk being mesh I get much better results and consistency especially in the higher grits. However the dust collection is great along the whole line. I am using a Festool dust collector with a 5” Mirka Ceros and could not be happier.

> 3 dayI didnt realize there is a difference between the regular Abranet which uses aluminum oxide and the Abranet Ace that uses ceramic oxide. The ceramic oxide really keeps cutting for a long time. Oh well, Mirka sanders are excellent and even the regular Abranet is still a good product. FYI, seems like these burn out hook and loop pads on some non-Mirka sanders. You may want to use them with a pad saver.

> 3 dayAbranet is great stuff, even for hand sanding as the dust passes through the grid and can be shaken off the disk.

Greater than one weekMirka Abranet is the best sandpaper, hands down. Whether used on my CEROS or hand-held on turning projects, this stuff performs amazingly well. It doesnt clog nearly as easily as any other competing product and heat build-up is kept to a minimum.
