> 3 daylove this as a pocket knife, its small and light like a folder and doesnt look crazy or intimidating. Its really a perfect daily carry knife.

> 3 dayI own several Moraknivs. This is the first one that came dull. It wont cut the tape on an Amazon shipping box, for example, crosswise. Slitting the packing tape lengthwise between the box flaps takes force and determination. Next I grabbed it to open some garbage bags of leaves Id set aside until city leaf pickup. It had trouble cutting the plastic. Stainless blades are hard to sharpen compared to plain carbon steel so I only buy them if I expect them to come sharp. This knife disappoints.

> 3 dayWhat a great little knife at an inexpensive price. I liked it so much I bought six more for my children and other relatives, as gifts. Can never be to prepared for whatever comes down the road.

> 3 dayThe only thing wrong with with this SMALL knife is a no belt clip of some sort, and the the lack of response to obtaining the fire starting/other carry option I noted on Amazon/Youtube. E-mail to Morakniv is unanswered.. I may be wrong about the option........... 8-01-2017 update OK-fair customer feed back and bought the option for the fire steel and am happy BUT....Still needs a belt sheath option because this is very handy and does 90% of your food prep + light wood work + light cutting etc.. The dam thing is very good and had needed one sharpening on Both of mine with use...... Just want them outside of the pack for easy access

> 3 dayI am tired of folding knives that have screws loosen and fall apart. This knife has been my edc for a year now. After several months I found a rotating flashlight holder from HFT is a great sheath and wear it horizontal carry so i can deploy even laying on my back. To sharpen I simply use the bottom of a coffee cup. I use it at work (mechanic) to pry, cut hose and wire shielding, wash it and cut an apple.

> 3 dayI also ordered the blue one thinking I was paying more to get the neck strap and fire starter. Misleading pictures.

> 3 dayThis is an excellent pocket sized fixed blade from Mora. Ive bought many Mora knives over the past few decades, but I always chose laminated or standard carbon steels and would have preferred it in this model, but it isnt offered. Im sure the fact that it was designed to be worn around the neck or placed in a pocket was one of the reasons stainless was chosen for this model, but its a great knife that feels good in the hand and is extremely easy to control for fine work. Up until now the frosts laminated carver pictured here along with the eldris was the smallest useful Mora Ive purchased, but I think the eldris is a better option for many tasks. One reviewer stated that the steel was useless in saltwater environments as it rusted, but that review was helpful in my decision to purchase it as that let me know that theres enough carbon in the steel to hold a lasting edge. If you want it to be more stainless and stainless is the key word here as it means stains less and not stain free, but to the point! You can take the time to polish the steel so that there are no rough belt and tool marks on the blade and it will be more stainless as it wont collect and hold moisture on the surface as easily. Im very satisfied with the blade and wouldnt hesitate to purchase another one.

> 3 dayCool little knife that is great for opening other Amazon packages. Will make a great survival necklace, if I ever make it to the woods.

> 3 dayTitle pretty much says it all. Was using this knife for cutting boxes and let my eyes off it for a second as I cut right through my finger tips and nails. Never been more satisfied with an injury.

> 3 dayThis is such a great little knife. I am currently on a long camping trip, and find myself using it constantly. I picked up this and also the kansbol (Im about to write a good review on that one after this) because I was interested in both designs. The only complaint I have (which to me is no big deal), is that the grind was a little bit uneven when comparing both sides. I just added some extra sharpening to the smaller side to even it out a bit. Very sharp out of box, and very easy to get back to scary sharp with a little ceramic touch up. This small knife can literally do everything besides batoning, which btw, I find to be a pretty useless activity anyways. Not sure why every knife has to be thought of as a log splitter, but whatever. Anyways, these are the things I use it for on a daily basis right now innawoods. Opening cans, slicing potatoes(I even sliced potatoes chips at one point, very thin slices), onions, peppers, cutting meat Im eating, digging toilet holes (I cut the dirt with the spine, not sharp edge, in a criss cross pattern until deep enough, and it takes about 30 seconds), Feathersticks when in hardwood forest (currently in pines so thats not needed), I carved a spoon with it, cutting paracord, striking firesteel.....is does everything I need a knife to do when camping, and Im thoroughly impressed with its performance thus far. Mora has a good reputation and its for a reason, their knives are very sharp, easy to resharpen, and are made to be quite durable. I spent a lot of years with more expensive fixed blades, like the esee 6 for example, and I have to say, morakniv knives are my new favorite fixed blades, and every sharp, and easy to keep that way.
