> 3 dayI just got this knife today and I like it so much that I havent taken it from around my neck all day. So far I struck a ferro rod and my wife had two cardboard boxes that she needed opened so I left her use this knife and she liked it. Before opening the boxes I touched up the edge using the fine ceramic rod on my Work Sharp field sharpener. I also stropped the edge on the same sharpener. After that the already out the box sharp edge was shaving arm hair sharp. It would have been nice to get the knife that came with the fire kit but I found a five pack of magnesium/ferro rod with striker sold on Amazon that I ordered when I ordered this knife.

> 3 dayNothing negative to say about this little knife. Same quality you expect from Mora . This is my second purchase of this knife after giving my son the first one I had purchased . This comes sharp out of the box with after a little touch up it will shave like a razor . This knife is a great go to knife around the camp with food prep to fire starting . The more you use this knife the more you enjoy it .

> 3 dayLost within an hour of wearing the first time. Must have fallen out of sheath. Went to use and the knife was gone from the sheath. The shape and rigidity of the sheath is designed to hold the knife by simply clicking it into the sheath. It clicked in, but the knife vanished.

> 3 dayGreat little knife. Unlike many small knives in this category, it has a full handle. This allows for a firm grip and prolonged use without the annoyance of hot spots or need to wrap in paracord. The dual grind blade arrived very sharp and has held its edge well. Just because its a small neck knife does not mean that it cant tackle larger tasks (within reason). Also, I didnt get this with the neck carry option and dont think I am missing out on anything. After 5 minutes I fashioned a lanyard using the sheaths drain holes and the retention is just fine. Carried it all day without issue. If it starts to loosen up I may end up making a small retention loop with some gutted paracord.

Greater than one weekGreat blade on its own just wish the handle was a bit more substantial in size like other Mora knives. Also the sheath is the same as others and I understand its a neck knife but the option to get a clip for pocket carry would be amazing.

Greater than one weekI love this knife! It’s perfect for backpacking, Busch rafting, and even wood working. It stays sharp, and is small in size. Which makes the knife very handy, and very robust.

> 3 dayEldris is a great knife for many tasks, including carving and general camp duty. This one lives on my pack strap and is called on regularly. Sheath holds knife reliably for handle-down carry. So far a lot of spoons and spatulas have been roughed out with my Eldris.
