> 3 dayMounted a new chain with this on my 1972 H2 - with a pressed + riveted master link. Have not used to remove a chain so cannot comment on how well that works. Solid build - good finish and seems durable as long as you take care of it.

> 3 dayChanged my first chain with this tool yesterday. Everything worked well. They included an extra rivet extraction pin. I didnt file off the rivet heads and had no issues breaking the old chain or removing a link from the new chain.

> 3 dayeasy to use, just follow the instuctions, I ground off the end of the rivet on chain before using the breaker, pushed the pin out easily. A little trickier riveting master link on, but quite do able for a noob like me.

18-11-2024Ive never used one of these before, and with a little help from the instructions and a youtube video, installing a new chain was a breeze. I didnt use it for chain removal, since bolt cutters seem like a much easier option. I did slightly crush the magnet on the forcing screw a bit, but that was my own fault for not following the instructions closely enough, so beware of that.

> 3 dayI gave it four stars because it does the job. For an easy to use portable chain brake and presser its very good, the instructions are easy to follow and anyone can use it. You will need a spanner or socket set to use properly and a strong hand but it does the job very well. Thank you from Australia

> 3 dayJust now getting to a review for this. I bought this tool well over a year ago, and it has more than paid for itself! Has broken atleast 3 dozen chains between mine and buddies. And still holding strong. For sure a quality tool!

> 3 dayI have worked on bicycles my whole life and after spending a fortune to let the dealer put on a new chain and sprockets for me I figured it was time to learn how to do it myself. I watched the Motion Pro video on YouTube and followed their instructions. I was able to push the pin out of my 525 chain with very little effort. The pressing went perfectly and I measured with a cheap Amazon set of calipers. The press part was easy, you just have to remember to go a little at at time and just dont crush down. This tool is the bomb and worth the money.

> 3 daythis works well. My only complaint is the press component of the tool is sometimes difficult to line up - if you dont have the press setup perfectly on the chain link, it wont press the plate onto the link. it has very little wiggle room and has to be on the tool absolutely perfect. otherwise, the tool is really great and does everything I need with the chains. would highly recommend.
