Motion Pro 08-0470 PBR Chain Breaker

Already pressed and riveted 3 chains the day I got it. This is a very well built tool, I am happy I spent the money on it. I had the $20 version and it bent on me. This thing is built like a tank. For any of those folks who have broken a pin. Its because you tried to press out the pin before grinding off the riveting or you missed the pin hole. Misusing a tool doesnt make the tool bad, it means you have more to learn. Happy to have this in my arsenal and I know I will have it for a very long time.

This little tool is exactly what the home mechanic needs to connect and break endless chain. Works well and is very tough.

I used it on a 530 chain, the max size its rated for. Did a great job for my first attempt at riveting a chain. I would recommend it for the price and they shipped same day I believe. Positive experience!

it did exactly what I needed it to do. the only thing I dont like is that the block had to be placed exactly in the right spot or it wouldnt break, press rivet right.....it would have been nice if it had grooves to hold the block where it is supposed to be. it wasnt hard to line up but groves would have made it easier to use.

I tried to go cheap at first. Its wasnt worth it. This tool is worth the money for ease of use, confidence in the integrity of the master link, and longevity of use. If you are looking for an economic solution to regular chain replacement look no further. Just remember to grease all threads and contact surfaces before use.

This tool turned out to be more than I had expected. I read other reviews and decided to give it a try and Im soo happy I did. This is the easiest and best built chain tool I have ever used. No matter what part of the installation of the chain it went smooth. I will never use another chain tool now that I have this. Built very well and even a 5 year old could figure this tool out.

I like this kit. Busted the chain breaker point (or whatever its called) on the last one due to misalignment. This one works great and is very simple to use due to the writing on it.
