> 24 hourThe mount is very sturdy and has a great range of motion. It feels solid fully extended and tilted at several angles. There is no wobble or sway at all. It will also collapse completely and only pushes the TV out an inch or so from the wall when fully retracted. After using 3 other types of mounting arms/brackets with different TVs, this was by far the easiest Ive ever installed. Actually hanging the TV on the installed mount instead of wrestling with the TV while attempting to fasten it to the mount is simple enough to be brilliant. The mount comes with everything you need except a drill, screwdriver, measuring tape (you do want it centered on the wall dont you?), and stud finder. My installation was a 65 TV over a fireplace, so I just substituted masonry bolts and anchors I already had in place of the ones they supplied. Warranty violation? Maybe, but this thing is a rock, so Im not concerned. Please note that they offer to send you free masonry anchors if you need them, but they are not included. The included lag bolts are definitely adequate and I suspect the mount can probably support more weight than they tell you. (I seriously doubt you would want a or need a TV heavier then the recommended limit.) My assumption is that most people will be installing into drywall and studs, and for that the kit is complete. It has several screw sizes and spacers that will fit just about any TV out there. Directions are clear and easy to follow. They even include a template for mounting the base as well as 2 levels - one to stick on the template and another to use with the mount. While I did find that the stick on level was not completely accurate, it is a clever idea and definitely helps to make sure the template is level while you find studs and mark and drill pilot holes. The template itself has adhesive strips to keep it in place during the process. I had no issues removing it from the wall when I was ready to install the mount. The installation took @ 20 minutes from opening the box to securing the last brackets. The worst part was lifting and hanging the TV. I did that myself, which I would not necessarily recommend unless you are super confident you can handle the weight and awkwardness of the TV. Most TVs (as they show you in the directions) are a 2 person job for at least the hanging. Would definitely recommend this mount. If/when I need to do this again, I will get another one.

> 24 hourI have problematic fenestration (window & doors) in my livingroom when I try to place a TV so it doesnt get reflections that spoil the viewed image. different day and night time so I opted for moving the screen around instead of black-out curtains--cheaper and less...1940 battle of Britain. Bought this one over others just ...because it could handle 16 o.c. OR 12 o.c. stud spacing and greater range of motion AND consideration of a larger and heavier TV that I may purchase in the future. I read the directions (not my habit) and followed them (again, not my habit) and given the constraints on existing wall assembly (studs and lath & horse hair plaster) the install was straight forward if not quick. I can place it and angle it for satisfaction and will probably purchase an add-on bracket for my minimal sound bar. It has some consideration for keeping the wires orderly but I probably will get around to sorting these out in the future (probably in the next Covid crisis). It is O.K.

> 24 hourThis is the mount you need. I have a 65 Samsung KS8000 and it fits like a dream...pun intended. Ive seen some people complain that the included hardware doesnt work with the KS8000 but that isnt the case. These are the type of people that should just hire someone to do the job since they cant do a little trial and error with the provided spacers. It took 5 minutes to get the right combination and I was on my way. I originally ordered a different mount from monoprice but it was mislabeled and wouldnt work my my 24 studs. The mount from monoprice was gigantic and came in a huge box...its going to be a pain in the ass to send back. When the Mounting Dream arrived I thought they sent a smaller mount by mistake. Nope...this thing is just packaged and designed perfectly. It looks incredible. The design is sleek and professional. Its almost a shame that it is going to be hiding behind a TV! The included instructions were great and the included mounting template made installation a breeze. It took longer for me to measure and figure out exactly where I wanted the TV to sit than it did to install the mount. The included level is a nice thought but you are going to want to use a real level for a project like this. I was able to install this mount by myself and hang the TV. You probably should have two people but if you are an average sized guy you should have no problem getting the bracket on the wall. The TV might be another story depending on how high you are mounting it. Luckily mine isnt that far off the ground. With 4 lag bolts in the studs this mount isnt going anywhere. There is zero sag when fully extended and adjustments are simple. I am so glad that the other mount I purchased didnt work out. The mounting dream is the best mount Ive ever used!

> 24 hourAfter comparing higher cost equivalents, including one that also allowed for sliding the TV laterally across the length of the mounting bar rail (a feature I would not need), I decided to try this one. This has solid construction and was pretty easy to attach to my 65” OLED LG TV. Wall mounting instructions are clear and the template and small level were a nice convenience. I did not use the included HDMI cable because it was too short to connect to my AVR and it felt flimsy compared to the pair of certified ultra HDMI cables I acquired for this updated HT system I was setting up. The wall base was easier for me to install on my drywall location as it is located in a 3/4 finished basement and I had visible access to the back of the wall to validate stud locations by sight. There are no problems with side to side swivel and front to back motion, Setting the screen tilt angle was a little less intuitive, but not a big challenge and I will not likely change that adjustment now that I have it set. If you do not have previous experience installing a wall mount, reviewing a couple videos on YouTube to see how pros do it may be helpful, as it was for me. A couple I saw clarified how to accurately measure wall bracket placement to end up with your desired TV height. My wife was adamant about wanting a comfortable line of sight so that she did not have to significantly look up to watch the TV. It is common to see pics of TVs mounted high on walls, but some experts suggest having the center of the screen at, or only slightly higher than a straight line view from your normal sitting/viewing position. Their bottom of screen to floor measurement suggestion is around 34-40” and some of the YouTube videos show how to get that adjustment correctly. This screen height also aligns with setting the front mains and center channel speaker height where the tweeter is approximately ear level for optimal listening (as recommended by experts); thus with the aforementioned screen and speaker height suggestionsand setting those would make it so the speakers and screen are ideally placed in the same approximate horizontal axis. Bottom line to this review: Thumbs up on cost, build quality, clear instructions and a feature mix that includes 12+” screen extension from the wall, left and right screen swivel, adequate up and down tilting, and plenty of mounting bolt options that seem to accommodate a wide range of TV brands.

> 24 hourFirst off, I have 3 different TVs mounted around the house, using 3 different brands. This is by far the most sturdy and secure feeling of the three. Easy to install, hardly any assembly required> the unit that mounts to the wall is 100% assembled, just the parts that connect to the TV are separate. All the different adapters, bolts and washers are individually wrapped separate from one another. The only potential issue is for owners of a Samsung smart TV, like me. The main TV structure support bracket (that extends from the wall) runs directly BEHIND the removable power cord (check out pic). So if you install the TV-side mount brackets with the shortest adapters and shortest bolts, it will block the power cord connection (you will not be able to plug in the TV!!!). Had to take a long look at how to get around this; the solution is to use the longest bolts with both the short and tall adapters (check out pic). And, hang the TV onto the wall side of the bracket with the power cord already plugged in beforehand. I was concerned about compromising stability but it is rock solid. So, as long as you are aware of this potential issue, you can save yourself some confusing moments when installing this system. Not a deal breaker by any means, just be aware of it; at least with Samsung TVs.

> 24 hourThats what you need to have to be able to maneuver your TV mounted with this thing. Its like the bolts are really tight preventing it from moving it back and forth easily. The only way to move the TV back and forth is by pushing and pulling the TV itself (obviously) but Im not comfortable doing that with the amount of force it takes. Tilting it isnt nearly as bad, but I only had to do that once. I mounted my Samsung 65 inch for reference. I gave it 3 stars because overall its a decent mount and I feel its doing the job of keeping it on the wall. I would not buy this again, however.

> 24 hourGiven the fact that I already own 2 other TV mounts from this exact brand already. I knew that I was purchasing the best without any questions. Although the description may say for 45 TVs and up... I think its more around the lines of 60+. Thats my opinion though... This mount is huge and can potentially be bigger than some 45 TVs... So just a heads up. The TV that I installed it with is a 65 and I feel that it is perfect for the size. Also wanted to praise this buy with the things it includes (which I dont think they advertise enough). With the purchase you get the instructions to put it up (or you can YouTube it), a paper stencil of the mount to make your marking on the wall extremely easier, 2 levels (one for the mount and one for the mount paper stencil), a drill bit for mounting screws, a socket wrench for the mounting screws and all the little extra parts if needed. I really recommend this company for any mounting, but would also recommend for you to do the research on the perfect size for your TV. As stated above, I feel this one is perfect for anything 60+.

> 24 hourSo... I like to go overkill on some projects, especially like this where a heavy object could potentially fall on my child. So, I spend the extra $ for what appears to be a more premium mount, and they delivered. Now, as far as mounting goes, I have an older 50 Samsung Plasma TV which weighs a good bit, and back to what I previously said about things that could possibly fall on my child... I went overkill on this install. I already had an outlet installed behind the TV and, when I installed it I thought I had it centered just right as to avoid interference with any mount later on but go figure I was about a 1/2 too far to the right and this mount would have been on top of the right side of the faceplate. No worries, I wanted to put some boards (which I still need to paint) under the mounting bracket anyway so I could proceed with my overkill install. I had some scrap 1x4 boards that I cut to size. Two went behind the mount, the other 1 went on the other side of the wall to which the TV would be mounted which just so happened to just be a closet space in my office, so no biggie. Pre-drilled everything out and used some 3.5 bolts to hold the mount in place, bolted to the studs which I found out werent my houses usual 16 on center (for unknown reasons) on this wall, and used four 8 bolts to straddle the studs for the top of the mount. So the first image is from the closet side showing the 4 bolts protruding from the wall, straddling the studs, and the other two pictures show the boards on the front side and how they also allowed enough offset from the wall for my outlet, and a bit larger of a footprint so I dont crush the drywall with the pressure of kids (or anybody else) possibly pulling on the TV. Bolts need to be cut, ground down and siliconed so they cant cut anything up, and the boards need to be painted still, but you get the point. Suffice it to say this isnt coming down, exactly how it should be in a house with youngins

> 24 hourI used this to mount a Samsung 58” TV. The TV feels very secure, I have not once been worried it would fall. The installation process was a bit more than I expected but it was doable. However, be prepared as the mount itself is rather heavy. My wife and I tried to install at first but we ended up waiting until I could get my dad to come help so we could have two people hold the mount while another tightened the bolts. The provided spacers were not right for the TV I had but I was able to use a few washers and the Samsung provided spacers instead. On an ongoing basis I would say the mount itself has held up well, however, moving the mount in and out from the wall can be a little tough as it has a lot of resistance. Otherwise, the quantity of the build is great, it looks nice when the TV is out and you can see behind. The included level is garbage but the cords organizers are a life saver, way better than my normal go to zip ties as you can undo and redo as many times as you want (cable management is an art not a science!). I ended up putting a media box behind the tv and it fit perfectly in the cutout of the mount without comprising any if the integrity and everything is hidden from view. I would definitely buy again.
