> 3 dayThis was my first time mounting a TV, and I have to say, it was much easier than I expected. I placed a 60 Vizio Smartcast TV on it, which weighs around 50lbs. The mount is made extremely well, with incredibly sturdy material. The install was actually pretty easy, too. The hardest part about the entire process was lining everything up on the studs to drill the holes. Other than that, everything was straightforward. It even comes with a template for different stud layouts, which is not entirely necessary to use it if you know distance between your studs. It also comes with a level and a little bubble, but I would highly recommend using a larger level for this, as the packaged ones seemed to be a little off to me. Other than that and a drill, all the other tools and hardware you would ever need come with the box. Once installed, this thing is amazing. It swivels in some pretty crazy directions. It can sit all the way up against your wall, or come out about 16 inches towards you. It can sit straight, or it can look down for those who mount it higher up on their wall. The best part about it is the fact that you can adjust the TVs level after its mounted! It allows you to tilt the TV left or right 3 degrees, even if you somehow placed the mount at a slightly-off angle. Thats pretty sweet. I dont think Id change anything about the mount itself, as it does everything I need it to and more. Perfect.

Greater than one weekIts HD, its smooth to move. Didnt budge when I pulled on it after install before the TV was installed. Easy to install, just a drill, stud finder, phillips and 1/2 wrench. Only downside to this mount, is they give you a small cheap 2 or 3 level. But if your mounting it on your own, I am pretty sure you most likely have a decent level. Rather them keep the level and save me a few bucks than include it so I can toss it. So still 5 stars overall still.

> 3 dayOkay Amazon, you just rejected my first review - love the machine intelligence. I spent a lot of time reading reviews on AMZN and the web on mounting options, mounting bracket reviews, etc. and settled on this one. Package arrived in mint condition (rare as its heavy) and contained all the necessary pieces and parts, including 2 levels which were very handy if you didnt own any. The instructions were shockingly clearly and easy to understand and the mounting itself pretty simple and straight forward. I ended up having to mount this using some solid wood stringers as the studs in my wall are 24 apart and I couldnt make it work where I wanted it to, namely the exact center of the viewing room. Not a big deal really. Using 2 people to mount would make it even easier so if that is an option then go for it. I am glad I took some extra time and really measured out dimensions because had I defaulted to using some formulas (well presented) on the Internet my TV would have been mounted way, way too high. My advice is to take your time, get a friend or partner to help, and it will be an easy 2-3 hour job start to finish (locating, measuring, modifying, hanging tv + cable mgmt) I used some heavy duty 3 Torx wafer head lag screws to mount the bracket to the solid wood stringers - worked great. Mount comes with a variety of machine and lag screws of different lengths to accommodate for a variety of options and TVs. Final mounting was easy though a true 2 person job. I like the ability to adjust the TV at a slight (5-10 degree) angle to cut down on glare from the back window....nice touch.

> 3 dayI purchased a 95 pound - 86 tv and Amazon recommended this for mounting ot on the wall. Very easy to install. Very heavy duty! My tv took 2 people to hang it but this bracket holds the weight effortlessly. As a bonus it moves in and out and tilts as well. Make sure you have a stud finder for installation. Heavy tv must be anchored into the stud! 4 bolts no less or more needed. It took me 1 hour to install but I took my time to make sure it was perfectly centered with the room. I would definitely order it again....

> 3 daySo... I like to go overkill on some projects, especially like this where a heavy object could potentially fall on my child. So, I spend the extra $ for what appears to be a more premium mount, and they delivered. Now, as far as mounting goes, I have an older 50 Samsung Plasma TV which weighs a good bit, and back to what I previously said about things that could possibly fall on my child... I went overkill on this install. I already had an outlet installed behind the TV and, when I installed it I thought I had it centered just right as to avoid interference with any mount later on but go figure I was about a 1/2 too far to the right and this mount would have been on top of the right side of the faceplate. No worries, I wanted to put some boards (which I still need to paint) under the mounting bracket anyway so I could proceed with my overkill install. I had some scrap 1x4 boards that I cut to size. Two went behind the mount, the other 1 went on the other side of the wall to which the TV would be mounted which just so happened to just be a closet space in my office, so no biggie. Pre-drilled everything out and used some 3.5 bolts to hold the mount in place, bolted to the studs which I found out werent my houses usual 16 on center (for unknown reasons) on this wall, and used four 8 bolts to straddle the studs for the top of the mount. So the first image is from the closet side showing the 4 bolts protruding from the wall, straddling the studs, and the other two pictures show the boards on the front side and how they also allowed enough offset from the wall for my outlet, and a bit larger of a footprint so I dont crush the drywall with the pressure of kids (or anybody else) possibly pulling on the TV. Bolts need to be cut, ground down and siliconed so they cant cut anything up, and the boards need to be painted still, but you get the point. Suffice it to say this isnt coming down, exactly how it should be in a house with youngins

> 3 dayWe recently got a 75 LG tv and we wanted that big boy up on the wall. Naturally, I was terrified of doing that considering I was convinced it would just rip any mount off of the wall. We also had an issue of size considering we were trying to put the tv in the corner of our room. So we need a full-motion heavy-duty mount that could actually do the job. This mount did the trick! Ill admit installing it was an event and definitely not the easiest because this mount is heavy. All I can say is just make sure you follow the direction ESPECIALLY the troubleshooting section. We ran into the stud issue and needed to get the socket wrench to get it fully in. Only took us like 30 minutes to figure this out... We ended up loving the mount so much we got a second one for our 65 tv. Both are holding strong and they are very sturdy. My only small complaint is the mount on the tv into the wall mount doesnt have a screw or clamp mechanism to hold it. It slides across the mount and while not a huge issue, can be a pain when trying to move the larger TVs around on the full motion range. Overall, a great mount and well worth the investment. Holds up the big tvs and makes the corner area useable too!

> 3 dayFortunately, our contractor had placed wood (2x8) behind the wall where the TV was going ahead of time. Installation was a breeze. I first used the spacers and attached the two metal holders to my Sony 65 TV. Then I used the template with the supplied level to install the rear rectangular bracket. Once the template is up, then simply drill the holes. I ended up going to home depot to buy more lag bolts (LAG SCREWS 1/4 X2-1/2), which were easier to put in. I used 4 on the top, since I had wood backing all the way across, and then 2 on the bottom. I then used a hand screw driver with a socket head, to screw in the lag bolts and finger tighten. Next, you should adjust the tilt angle, BEFORE putting up your TV, and tighten. Then my wife helped lift the TV on the upper and lower cross bars, and I quickly used the securing braces on the rear. Plugged in all my connections to the TV, then carefully pushed back against the well, and everything worked perfectly. I have no doubts that this bracket if put into studs, can support your TV., Another option, which most people will not bother doing, I to use two 2x4s, first secured on the outside of the wall (parallel to the floor), then mount the rectangular bracket to the 2x4s, using the template to drill and level. The reality is that nobody will ever see behind the TV, and it will stick out just 2s more, which isnt that noticeable, and will make the installation much stronger. My personal feeling is the supplied lag bolts are a bit thick, and Id prefer to use the 1/4 x 2-1/2 lag bolts and double up for strength and ease of installation. Just remember, if you ever sell your TV, you should remove the two mounting brackets and transfer them on the new TV. Even if you sell the house / apartment, you will need to leave the mounting braces for the next person. Best of luck and enjoy. Disclosure - This brand IMHO is the best on the market, they have the best curved steel mounting braces, whereas the competition has just bent steel. Its very well thought out. Ive purchased 3 different types of their projects, and always had good results. DO NOT MOUNT WITHOUT FIRST LOCATING & SECURING TO STUDS.

> 3 dayThis is a great mount. It is very sturdy and holds my 75 LED TV very well. Had a single-arm extension mount on my heavy 55-inch 2011 3D HDTV, so I wanted to go with a double arm for this beast. I purchased my 4K TV the Saturday before Thanksgiving at my local club store, kind of an impulse buy. I knew the mount for my 55 TV was heavy duty, but I didnt know at the time that it only went up to 400 x 400 VESA and the new TV was 600 x 400 (its an old mount, before anything larger than 55 was common). No problem, company wasnt coming until Tuesday, and I saw I could order a mount at Amazon and have it delivered by Monday with Prime, so I did further research on mounts looking for one that would install into concrete. This one did, it was on sale, ordered. Shipping delay on Monday meant I didnt get the mount until Tuesday. Ok, no problem. Company has arrived at my house but no big deal. Mount arrives Tuesday. I go to install that evening after spending time with relatives. Open the package up, they have screws for every type of TV under the sun, but NO CONCRETE WALL ANCHORS WERE INCLUDED! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! They advertise this as being able to install in concrete, the anchors probably cost pennies to produce and include, yet Mounting Dream made the horrible decision to not include concrete wall anchors? One can phone them and they will send them to you if you need them. Its 9PM at night, the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Should have had this TV up on the wall yesterday, and now Im looking at FRIDAY EVENING at best, thats assuming Mounting Dream can overnight me the anchors. Every TV mount I have ever purchased in the past (7 to be exact) has included the concrete wall anchors. This was extremely frustrating to me. I didnt know if I wanted to just spend a lot more money for a good mount locally and return this one, but that would take time I didnt have, and this seemed like a nice mount. So I emailed Mounting Dream Tuesday evening at maybe 11pm. Low and behold, I had an email in my inbox the next morning, as apparently they are in Asia and have a shipping partner in the USA they contacted to get the concrete wall anchors to me on Friday. I applaud their fast shipping, but it doesnt change the fact they should have included these anchors in the box to begin with. By Wed evening I decided I didnt want to wait anymore, so I found anchors I had from another two other installations, with different screws, and made those work. So, mount is 5-star, customer service is 5-star, but because their failure to include concrete wall anchors as an intentional decision, after advertising this mount was for concrete installation, drops this down to a 3-star product. Mounting Dream, start putting the concrete wall anchors in with your mounts and stop inconveniencing customers and causing loads of frustration! (I waited a week to write this because last week I was ready to give this mount a 2-star review) So, if installing in wood, youll love it. If you can wait extra days for concrete anchors to arrive before you install, youll love it. If you want to get your TV up ASAP, and there was a shipping delay (not sure if that was Amazon or Mounting Dream), and you cant wait for concrete anchors to arrive after a holiday, go with a different mount that includes the anchors.

Greater than one weekI have to say, this was one of the most well-thought-out products Ive ever purchased. The item arrived well packaged in a sturdy box (inside another Amazon box) with everything well laid out inside. All of the fasteners were individually packaged so theres no fishing around for the right part. For the record, I used this to mount a 65 TV that weighs about 50 lbs. It is definitely sturdy and can hold much more. Additional tools you will need: Tape measure, stud-finder, drill w/drill and screwdriver bits, wrench & socket set (SAE). Mounting on the wall was a breeze. My advice to other buyers that you will need to locate the wall studs accurately and you will need drill the pilot holes as close to the center of the studs as possible - particularly if youre mounting a heavy TV. Theres just no getting around that. Use the stud-finder to mark the edges of the studs, then use those marks to determine the mid-point. Make a couple of passes to be absolutely sure. Included in the package is a peal-and-stick cardboard template and two bubble levels. Dont bother with the one that youre supposed to stick on the template, just use the big plastic one. Youre going to want to do some measuring here to make sure you place the mount exactly where you want it. I was lucky that the center of the TV was almost dead-center between two studs. Youll also want to measure the height of the mount by test-fitting the part that goes on the TV and doing a little figuring on how much to move the mount up or down so that the TV is where you want it. Once youve drilled the holes, screw the bracket to the wall and use a wrench to snug the screws tight. Dont over-tighten or youll strip out the holes. Make sure you put the mount right side up (Yes, I made this mistake). Next, attach the brackets to the TV. The kit comes with an assortment of screws, washers and bushings to accommodate any TV. Each TV is different and youre just going to have to use common sense. Dont over-tighten these screws either, but the brackets need to be snug. Before hanging the TV on the wall mount, ensure that the side-to-side and front-to-back tilt adjustment screws are tight and relatively level. You can adjust them later to get them perfect, but you should have them close to where they need to be now and tightened down so the mount doesnt move when youre trying to hang the TV on it. Have someone help you lift the TV onto the wall mount. It just hangs on there (at first), but its much easier if you have someone to help guide it into place. Attach the locking brackets to the bottom of the TV brackets and youre done!!! Operation of the mount is very smooth, though it takes just a little bit more effort than Id like. I attribute that to the fact that its brand new and Im certain a few drops of oil strategically placed will resolve that. BY NO MEANS would I suggest getting a different mount based on that purely-subjective opinion. This mount is perfect for a big TV. Its a little pricier than most, but worth every penny.
