04-06-2025I have to say, this was one of the most well-thought-out products Ive ever purchased. The item arrived well packaged in a sturdy box (inside another Amazon box) with everything well laid out inside. All of the fasteners were individually packaged so theres no fishing around for the right part. For the record, I used this to mount a 65 TV that weighs about 50 lbs. It is definitely sturdy and can hold much more. Additional tools you will need: Tape measure, stud-finder, drill w/drill and screwdriver bits, wrench & socket set (SAE). Mounting on the wall was a breeze. My advice to other buyers that you will need to locate the wall studs accurately and you will need drill the pilot holes as close to the center of the studs as possible - particularly if youre mounting a heavy TV. Theres just no getting around that. Use the stud-finder to mark the edges of the studs, then use those marks to determine the mid-point. Make a couple of passes to be absolutely sure. Included in the package is a peal-and-stick cardboard template and two bubble levels. Dont bother with the one that youre supposed to stick on the template, just use the big plastic one. Youre going to want to do some measuring here to make sure you place the mount exactly where you want it. I was lucky that the center of the TV was almost dead-center between two studs. Youll also want to measure the height of the mount by test-fitting the part that goes on the TV and doing a little figuring on how much to move the mount up or down so that the TV is where you want it. Once youve drilled the holes, screw the bracket to the wall and use a wrench to snug the screws tight. Dont over-tighten or youll strip out the holes. Make sure you put the mount right side up (Yes, I made this mistake). Next, attach the brackets to the TV. The kit comes with an assortment of screws, washers and bushings to accommodate any TV. Each TV is different and youre just going to have to use common sense. Dont over-tighten these screws either, but the brackets need to be snug. Before hanging the TV on the wall mount, ensure that the side-to-side and front-to-back tilt adjustment screws are tight and relatively level. You can adjust them later to get them perfect, but you should have them close to where they need to be now and tightened down so the mount doesnt move when youre trying to hang the TV on it. Have someone help you lift the TV onto the wall mount. It just hangs on there (at first), but its much easier if you have someone to help guide it into place. Attach the locking brackets to the bottom of the TV brackets and youre done!!! Operation of the mount is very smooth, though it takes just a little bit more effort than Id like. I attribute that to the fact that its brand new and Im certain a few drops of oil strategically placed will resolve that. BY NO MEANS would I suggest getting a different mount based on that purely-subjective opinion. This mount is perfect for a big TV. Its a little pricier than most, but worth every penny.

> 3 dayReally needed a hole right in the middle of the mount. My handyman drilled a hole thru the mount in the middle to get it in the stud. I have a 75 tv, and 75 of space between two windows, so it had to be perfect. If he didnt drill a hole in the middle, it would have been off by an inch. Considering the space, it would have been really noticeable. Once it was attached, my guy did a couple of pull-ups on it. Its not going anywhere, and holds my tv perfect!

Greater than one weekIt comes with all kinds of helpful tools and hardware to install, to allow for a wide variety of installation needs. They actually send you the right sized drill bit for the anchor screws, as an example, and a variety of different sized installation screws as apparently some tvs have different attachment screw sizes, and a variety of different spacers. They also include several straps for mounting cables, and even a new heavy duty HDMI cable. It also comes with an installation template that made it super easy. The install literally took me 30 minutes from beginning to end. The instructions were really outstanding. My only knock would be on the vertical tilt adjustment (up or down tilt) - it consists of two adjustable screws that is a little awkward to adjust, but overall, very pleased with the product. I was concerned given the price because it was so much less expensive than a full range of motion version I saw at a big block store (priced well over $300).

> 3 dayOkay Amazon, you just rejected my first review - love the machine intelligence. I spent a lot of time reading reviews on AMZN and the web on mounting options, mounting bracket reviews, etc. and settled on this one. Package arrived in mint condition (rare as its heavy) and contained all the necessary pieces and parts, including 2 levels which were very handy if you didnt own any. The instructions were shockingly clearly and easy to understand and the mounting itself pretty simple and straight forward. I ended up having to mount this using some solid wood stringers as the studs in my wall are 24 apart and I couldnt make it work where I wanted it to, namely the exact center of the viewing room. Not a big deal really. Using 2 people to mount would make it even easier so if that is an option then go for it. I am glad I took some extra time and really measured out dimensions because had I defaulted to using some formulas (well presented) on the Internet my TV would have been mounted way, way too high. My advice is to take your time, get a friend or partner to help, and it will be an easy 2-3 hour job start to finish (locating, measuring, modifying, hanging tv + cable mgmt) I used some heavy duty 3 Torx wafer head lag screws to mount the bracket to the solid wood stringers - worked great. Mount comes with a variety of machine and lag screws of different lengths to accommodate for a variety of options and TVs. Final mounting was easy though a true 2 person job. I like the ability to adjust the TV at a slight (5-10 degree) angle to cut down on glare from the back window....nice touch.

Greater than one weekThats what you need to have to be able to maneuver your TV mounted with this thing. Its like the bolts are really tight preventing it from moving it back and forth easily. The only way to move the TV back and forth is by pushing and pulling the TV itself (obviously) but Im not comfortable doing that with the amount of force it takes. Tilting it isnt nearly as bad, but I only had to do that once. I mounted my Samsung 65 inch for reference. I gave it 3 stars because overall its a decent mount and I feel its doing the job of keeping it on the wall. I would not buy this again, however.

Greater than one weekI used this wall mount for a 65 Sony. It is very solid and sturdy, I have no fear that it will come off the wall. It includes all possible combination of screws etc that one might need for its installation. I liked that most of the mount was first attached to the wall. Then the two vertical pieces attached to the TV. The TV could then be lifted and hung on the wall mount. The two brackets that hold the TV to the mount could be attached without physically holding the TV in place. One of the horizontal bars right behind the TV blocked the optical out connector that I wanted to use. I was able to slide the TV about an inch off center on the wall mount to get around this. It is also possible to change the location vertical mounts to the TV up or down depending on the TV. It is easy to swivel the TV as needed. I face it straight ahead to watch TV from my recliner or swivel it left to watch while using my elliptical. The only thing I still need to do is find out how to hold the TV perfectly horizontal. There seems to be a little play that allows the TV to get a bit out of horizontal when I swivel it. However, once set to horizontal it stays there until I move it again.

> 3 dayThis was my first time mounting a TV, and I have to say, it was much easier than I expected. I placed a 60 Vizio Smartcast TV on it, which weighs around 50lbs. The mount is made extremely well, with incredibly sturdy material. The install was actually pretty easy, too. The hardest part about the entire process was lining everything up on the studs to drill the holes. Other than that, everything was straightforward. It even comes with a template for different stud layouts, which is not entirely necessary to use it if you know distance between your studs. It also comes with a level and a little bubble, but I would highly recommend using a larger level for this, as the packaged ones seemed to be a little off to me. Other than that and a drill, all the other tools and hardware you would ever need come with the box. Once installed, this thing is amazing. It swivels in some pretty crazy directions. It can sit all the way up against your wall, or come out about 16 inches towards you. It can sit straight, or it can look down for those who mount it higher up on their wall. The best part about it is the fact that you can adjust the TVs level after its mounted! It allows you to tilt the TV left or right 3 degrees, even if you somehow placed the mount at a slightly-off angle. Thats pretty sweet. I dont think Id change anything about the mount itself, as it does everything I need it to and more. Perfect.

> 3 dayThis thing is a beast! Weighs a little over 20lbs and is solid. It has a good full range of motion, so you shouldnt have to worry about viewing the TV at angles as you can turn the TV pretty much any direction you need. It is packaged very nicely and comes with a variety of screws and spacers to allow you to attach the brackets to the back of pretty much any TV. It also comes with velcro straps to allow you to tie up any wires behind the TV. This was my first mounting experience and it is definitely a 2 person job to allow you to easily attach the mount to the wall and then hang the TV on the mount. If you are wanting the TV at a certain height on the wall, just make sure you measure the distance from the bottom of the brackets on the back of your TV to the bottom of the TV so you can make any adjustments to either how high/low you are screwing the brackets onto the back of your TV or how high/low you are attaching the mount to the wall. The bolts that attach the mount to the wall are over 2 inches long and about half an inch thick, so assuming you mounted it to studs or concrete correctly, this thing isnt coming down.

03-06-2025This is a great TV wall mount option. Good Quality. Easy Installation
