First off, I have 3 different TVs mounted around the house, using 3 different brands. This is by far the most sturdy and secure feeling of the three. Easy to install, hardly any assembly required> the unit that mounts to the wall is 100% assembled, just the parts that connect to the TV are separate. All the different adapters, bolts and washers are individually wrapped separate from one another. The only potential issue is for owners of a Samsung smart TV, like me. The main TV structure support bracket (that extends from the wall) runs directly BEHIND the removable power cord (check out pic). So if you install the TV-side mount brackets with the shortest adapters and shortest bolts, it will block the power cord connection (you will not be able to plug in the TV!!!). Had to take a long look at how to get around this; the solution is to use the longest bolts with both the short and tall adapters (check out pic). And, hang the TV onto the wall side of the bracket with the power cord already plugged in beforehand. I was concerned about compromising stability but it is rock solid. So, as long as you are aware of this potential issue, you can save yourself some confusing moments when installing this system. Not a deal breaker by any means, just be aware of it; at least with Samsung TVs.

I used this to mount a Samsung 58” TV. The TV feels very secure, I have not once been worried it would fall. The installation process was a bit more than I expected but it was doable. However, be prepared as the mount itself is rather heavy. My wife and I tried to install at first but we ended up waiting until I could get my dad to come help so we could have two people hold the mount while another tightened the bolts. The provided spacers were not right for the TV I had but I was able to use a few washers and the Samsung provided spacers instead. On an ongoing basis I would say the mount itself has held up well, however, moving the mount in and out from the wall can be a little tough as it has a lot of resistance. Otherwise, the quantity of the build is great, it looks nice when the TV is out and you can see behind. The included level is garbage but the cords organizers are a life saver, way better than my normal go to zip ties as you can undo and redo as many times as you want (cable management is an art not a science!). I ended up putting a media box behind the tv and it fit perfectly in the cutout of the mount without comprising any if the integrity and everything is hidden from view. I would definitely buy again.

The mount is very sturdy and has a great range of motion. It feels solid fully extended and tilted at several angles. There is no wobble or sway at all. It will also collapse completely and only pushes the TV out an inch or so from the wall when fully retracted. After using 3 other types of mounting arms/brackets with different TVs, this was by far the easiest Ive ever installed. Actually hanging the TV on the installed mount instead of wrestling with the TV while attempting to fasten it to the mount is simple enough to be brilliant. The mount comes with everything you need except a drill, screwdriver, measuring tape (you do want it centered on the wall dont you?), and stud finder. My installation was a 65 TV over a fireplace, so I just substituted masonry bolts and anchors I already had in place of the ones they supplied. Warranty violation? Maybe, but this thing is a rock, so Im not concerned. Please note that they offer to send you free masonry anchors if you need them, but they are not included. The included lag bolts are definitely adequate and I suspect the mount can probably support more weight than they tell you. (I seriously doubt you would want a or need a TV heavier then the recommended limit.) My assumption is that most people will be installing into drywall and studs, and for that the kit is complete. It has several screw sizes and spacers that will fit just about any TV out there. Directions are clear and easy to follow. They even include a template for mounting the base as well as 2 levels - one to stick on the template and another to use with the mount. While I did find that the stick on level was not completely accurate, it is a clever idea and definitely helps to make sure the template is level while you find studs and mark and drill pilot holes. The template itself has adhesive strips to keep it in place during the process. I had no issues removing it from the wall when I was ready to install the mount. The installation took @ 20 minutes from opening the box to securing the last brackets. The worst part was lifting and hanging the TV. I did that myself, which I would not necessarily recommend unless you are super confident you can handle the weight and awkwardness of the TV. Most TVs (as they show you in the directions) are a 2 person job for at least the hanging. Would definitely recommend this mount. If/when I need to do this again, I will get another one.

This was my first time mounting a TV, and I have to say, it was much easier than I expected. I placed a 60 Vizio Smartcast TV on it, which weighs around 50lbs. The mount is made extremely well, with incredibly sturdy material. The install was actually pretty easy, too. The hardest part about the entire process was lining everything up on the studs to drill the holes. Other than that, everything was straightforward. It even comes with a template for different stud layouts, which is not entirely necessary to use it if you know distance between your studs. It also comes with a level and a little bubble, but I would highly recommend using a larger level for this, as the packaged ones seemed to be a little off to me. Other than that and a drill, all the other tools and hardware you would ever need come with the box. Once installed, this thing is amazing. It swivels in some pretty crazy directions. It can sit all the way up against your wall, or come out about 16 inches towards you. It can sit straight, or it can look down for those who mount it higher up on their wall. The best part about it is the fact that you can adjust the TVs level after its mounted! It allows you to tilt the TV left or right 3 degrees, even if you somehow placed the mount at a slightly-off angle. Thats pretty sweet. I dont think Id change anything about the mount itself, as it does everything I need it to and more. Perfect.

I purchased a 95 pound - 86 tv and Amazon recommended this for mounting ot on the wall. Very easy to install. Very heavy duty! My tv took 2 people to hang it but this bracket holds the weight effortlessly. As a bonus it moves in and out and tilts as well. Make sure you have a stud finder for installation. Heavy tv must be anchored into the stud! 4 bolts no less or more needed. It took me 1 hour to install but I took my time to make sure it was perfectly centered with the room. I would definitely order it again....

Thats what you need to have to be able to maneuver your TV mounted with this thing. Its like the bolts are really tight preventing it from moving it back and forth easily. The only way to move the TV back and forth is by pushing and pulling the TV itself (obviously) but Im not comfortable doing that with the amount of force it takes. Tilting it isnt nearly as bad, but I only had to do that once. I mounted my Samsung 65 inch for reference. I gave it 3 stars because overall its a decent mount and I feel its doing the job of keeping it on the wall. I would not buy this again, however.

Comes with wood stud hardware to install. It comes also with a disposable 3 inch level and 3 velcro straps for cords. The TV I have is on the heavier side but this TV mount is sturdy and well built. This TV mount comes with a thin cardboard template to help ease of install. Great TV mount a little stiff to move in and out but thats to be expected since its new its also better because it feels more secure, It doesnt feel cheap.
