I recently fabricated a set of brackets to install a set of lights on my trucks bed rack and Im glad I ordered this tool. I was able to mark the location of the holes I needed to drill in the barstock quickly and easily. The striking force is adjustable and I found this works best with the adjustment screwed all the way in for full force. Once I did this my drill bits did not wander and every hole was precisely placed. At this price point I didnt expect or get a carbide tip and if I was to use this for professional fabrication, Id get the Starrett. For 90% of the gargeneers and gearheads looking for a good marking / dimpling tool, this is more than adequate to the job.

I have used this to enter punch aluminum and steel and it works very well. It also adjusts for harder or softer strikes. Would buy again.

No complaints at all. Theyve done everything Ive asked of them except come when I whistle. Easy to read. Case hasnt broken. They came well oiled.
