I really like these strong magnets. We needed something to hold our heavy retractable dog leashes on the side of a metal shelf at the side door. The size of the magnetic base is perfect---it fits on the edge of the metal shelf and they hold great. No accidents, or tugging off of the magnetic hooks since day one. Very pleased. The only way we can get them off without a major fuss, is to slide them to the edge of the shelf, and then rock them off. We havent had to do that since we first installed them. Great product. I plan to use the extra magnetic hook to hold our outdoor broom to the side of a metal shed. Weve told several folks about how handy they are. Thanks for such a great product!

Incredibly strong, use them to hang my phone headset on the side of my filing cabinet. Also use 2 to hold a curtain rod on my metal back door.

These are really powerful magnets. The hooks are threaded and screw right into the magnetic base. The magnets can be separated by sliding them apart; a frank pull will not get it done. I would recommend using these with a piece of paper behind them if youre attaching them to a refrigerator or other appliance where you want to protect the finish, because the strong metal pull will make it difficult to remove without sliding on the surface.
