These are definitely strong magnets but as previously reported; when used on a slick painted surface such as a refrigerator they do not hold steady. With very little weight and using 3 magnets they still slid down the frige. Will try to use elsewhere.

I have found many uses for these that I wasnt expecting. I initially bought it for my grill to hang the grill brush cleaner on there. My back door is magnetic and I use it to tuck my curtains during the day to allow them to be open. The other place I have it hung up and use it is in the garage on the fridge. I have a couple umbrellas hung up for easy access. Recommend!
