I don’t understand the negative reviews on these. They are strong enough to be difficult to pull apart and they slam into the steel post I put them on. As far as 50 lbs, that is its rating for an overhead mount, not the front of your refrigerator. It also matters what the surface texture is. A refrigerator has a textured surface so they won’t hold as well. I use them to hang all my 3x5 flags on metal posts and they are perfect. The magnets are plated too so they’re not just the old black breakable junk that used to be all we had. Also comes with a set of smaller hooks.

I had bought a set of hooks but the closure was such that I was unable to hang my kitchen utensils with them. These have a wider opening and worked perfectly. The silvery white finish gives them a nice antique like look and the magnets are very strong which comforts me in knowing they will hold my items and not fall. Would recommend.

Very strong magnetic pull which makes it hard to remove if done incorrectly. Stretch? - don’t think metal or magnets stretch much. Sturdiness excellent- using horizontally and is excellent. Comes with both larger diameter and smaller diameter hooks which allow it to be customized to your application. Small hooks good to hang single item while larger hooks are great for wire coils like headset wires. Excellent purchase!

I use the hooks for holding long aprons. Also, has smaller hooks if needed. Perfect!

Love these magnetic hooks. I have a metal artist desk. I use these hooks to hold dowels which hold a paper towel roll within reach, also holds rolls of tape, scissors, etc., leaving the top clutter free. I also use on the side of my microwave to hold the lid, and on the side of the oven to hold utensils.

Size of the opening is the best part of these. Great value and strong.
