Ive purchased other magnet hooks before and they all have the very small hooks on them. These large hooks are perfect. The 50lb strength is just right for a strong magnet, I have 100lb ones and they are just too crazy strong, too hard to move cant detach them from the metal. On sheet metal it has a stick force of 30 lbs and started sliding at 12lbs on 1/4 plate steel it has a stick on force of 43 pounds and starts to slide with about 19 lbs of force. what Ive found the bigger the magnet gets the weaker it is on sheet metal when compared to thick plate of steel. One other thing I noticed is that the threads on the hook are the same size on other magnet hook, also I found there are very few threads on the hook when comparing to my small hook magnets that have over twice the number of threads.

Used on the walls of our cruise ship room! Held up wet swim suits, lanyards, and really anything we needed!

These hooks are not good, cant hold 50lbs, amazon sent me hooks which does not work the way they are described.

The lockers in my gym have no hooks so I bring my own. They work well as the lockers are metal. Each hook holds about five pounds which is enough for your clothes.

I use these magnet hooks in my metal duck pit to hold my decoys. They are super strong, and really hold up!

These Neosmuk Magnetic Hooks are very convenient but wont hold 50 lbs except under absolute optimum circumstances. You get 6, smallish, hooks in the box. These adhere magnetically to metal surfaces although, not all metal surfaces are appropriate. Especially if they are painted. Thus, you will find that on many surfaces, it will not hold 50lbs of weight. Still, for my purposes, they hold very well. I am using a couple of these on my gas grill. They adhere well to a certain area of the base and hold utensils and mitts just fine. I am using a couple more on my vent hood for mitts and again, they hold fine. The other two I am using on the outside of a tool chest to hold stuff as I am working. This works just great! **edit** used for Disney cruise. Was able to hang up towels, lanyards, wet trunks, and bags on the wall for easy use. Probably best purchase we made for the cruise. Would recommend to anyone. Using these for a cruise coming up. Excited that the hooks are different sizes and screw into the bases.
