Good switch, worked great right out of the box. Feature ratings misleading-this is not WIFI-Its a hard wired switch. I also didnt need tech support, its basically being used as a dumb switch. Plug it in, connect the Cat 5 cables and away you go. Big improvement in speeds over WIFI. Prior I had speed tests of about 29Mbps with WIFI and got close to the 200Mbps Im paying for with the switch. Which is expected with WIFI, but thats why I bought it for the desktop connections.

I needed a switch for my new house. This switch did the job. Very happy with net gear products in the past and happy again

Well constructed, always reliable.

I have always had two networks in my house, one directly on the ISP router LAN, one off an inner router than treats the outer as a WAN. The ISP controls the firmware in the outer router and I dont trust them. But a situation arose where I needed both networks in other rooms, and I had only one network cable fished through to those rooms. So, I went to smart switches and VLANs. I bought three of these, one 8 port and two 5 port.

just plug-n-play , no manage switch, great for small business expansion or home use...

This is not a very fancy switch, but it works as advertised. A very inexpensive upgrade to improve the transfer rates of my lan.
