NETGEAR 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch (GS308) - Home Network Hub, Office Ethernet Splitter, Plug-and-Play, Silent Operation, Desktop or Wall Mount

All the wired connections in my LAN run through this hub which is used to distribute the gigabit fiber internet connection from my EERO Pro 6. The Netgear 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch (GS308) handles this task effortlessly. I plugged it in more than 3 months ago and it has been running continuously without any drama. Highly recommended.

This is really good and works as intended however it will not come in with an ethernet cable your gonna need to buy one separate either cat 5e or higher or cat 4 of RJ45

Stable and fast.

Nothing fancy, but if you dont need a managed switch this is the one to buy, IMO. Solid performance with no freezes, etc. 100% availability. My only complaint is that the power port should be on any side other than the back for my purposes, but then if they put it somewhere else others would complain it wasnt on the back, so whatever.

Works great, mounts easily on the wall. Very happy. Had it several months now, no issues.

Can do basic management of the switch and testing of the lines. A real plus for the location I have it placed in. Plan to purchase a few more.

I am returning this switch after 3 weeks of complaints from the wife and kids that the Internet is down. When this happens, no host on the network can ping any other host (everything goes through this switch), and the only way to restore is to power cycle this switch. Everything then immediately goes back to normal.

Great little unmanaged switch for my office. Plug and play. Im a bit disappointed that it doesnt power our Polycom VOIP phones. I should have researched that further before buying. I had the old blue version of this, which was noisy while switching. You could hear the clicks. This one doesnt make any noise.

Died within few days. Metal surface becomes hot/warm to the touch, then it went dead within few days. Purchased TWO and both died in three days. Netgear Technical support non existence and at the end they ask you to work with Amazon. So I returned them both.

I purchased (2) of these 8 port managed switches for my home network to compliment my new ORBI 853 mesh wifi 6 system. Switches arent exciting, but they do need to be simple to setup, simple to manage and most of all be reliable. These NetGear switches accomplish all of that.
