Plug and play all the way. Very good item!

I think the main thing with Ethernet Switches is are they invisible. That is, do you ever have to reset it, do you have issues with it not working. This switch is easy to use and reliable. I haven’t reset it once in 3+ months.

This product is unmanaged, so it is literally plug and play. Excellent quality, easy to install... it is really tough to mess this one up. NETGEAR can always be relied upon to deliver quality gear at a great price.

Great quality 16-port switch. Metal design with lights on the front where the cat5 connects.

Don’t buy this. Settle for something better.

Exactly what I needed for my application

The unit was DOA. Tested it by checking with two different ethernet cables - plug each end into a port (this should cause the ports to light up and flash). Netgear support confirmed this and are sending me a new one (thats why they got the second star).

What can you say about a NETGEAR switch aside from the fact it just works great? Literal plug n play setup and all the ease youd expect at a low price. I purchased this to expand the home network from my 12 year old NETGEAR 5 slot switch (which was aces too).
