Exactly what I needed and as advertised. Love the metal casing which is why I bought this one over the plastic

We need this 8 port ethernet switch because we had 6 wires that we had to insert into the switch after we renovated the basement. This was really easy to install and it was has been working great! It is a simple plug and play device which is what you need. The speed is also very fast so no issues there!

It does exactly what it says: 8 gigabit ports. Not manageable at all, no vlans, nothing, just a switch. Very well constructed.

This device is perfect for a home or small business requiring separation of devices/functionality.

I was looking to upgrade my home to have a solid wired network and looked everywhere I could think of to find an ethernet switch which had good reviews, medium number of ports, and a low price.

Works great, I have 2 of these. throughput is great.

Not much to say, works perfectly as does all my other Netgear equipment (two 8-port gigabit switches, a 5-port gigabit switch and a 5-port 10/100 switch.)

Easy to set up. Plug and play. Signal to all connections is strong.

Simple, cheap switch with a metal housing and clear indicators that should work fine for any home application.

Had another area in our office that needed more ethernet devices hooked up to our network. Bought this for the capacity as we got their 5 port model and were pretty happy with it. I have been using this for at least 6 months or more and it has not given us a single issue. It is also compact enough that we could zip tie it to another metal shift with the ports facing vertically.
