> 24 hourI bought this so I could project movies and things on the wall of my house for my family to watch and it will not play movies at all on Netflix or any streaming service It will only play select things It will allow you to open the service and even go as far as to pull the movie up but as soon as you press play the screen just goes black as if it’s coded to not allow you to watch anything that’s not in your phone gallery ??

> 24 hourRecently, I bought a projector for my deck at home and I must say, I was impressed by its performance and overall display [including sound.] Pros: - #1 win since its incredibly easy to mirror your screen from a phone and tablet to broadcast content - Great clarity for the price - Powerful speakers; I honestly thought they would be weak but they are as good as the visuals being broadcast by the LCD - Perfect for showcasing sports and movies [great frame rate] Cons: -I wish they had included a brief startup guide [on paper vs. a QR code] as I struggled to find the focus option when I stood it up the first time [I wish I knew the focus bottom was on the remote] -At first, I expected the outdoor projector to be smaller. However, its not a major issue once you locate a suitable location for it. Summary - If youre planning to buy a projector, I would suggest this one.

> 24 hourAs a disclaimer, this is the first projector Ive owned myself, but Ive handled a fair number of them in the past to give me a baseline of comparison. Setup was extremely easy, and although it was initially a little slow to connect to my MacBook via AirPlay, subsequent connections to my MacBook, iPhone, and even an Android tablet were quick. The ability to connect to almost any device wirelessly with acceptable lag/delay was very impressive for me in this price range. Keystone correction was very easy to adjust and allowed for a decent range of angles and heights. Picture quality is okay on an off-white wall but would probably be better with a real projector screen. Brightness was not the strongest, though the room we used was naturally pretty bright; this improved greatly after sunset and allowed for a pretty impressive viewing experience (as with most projectors except the absolute brightest, but those tend to run much more expensive). Perhaps the most impressive part to me was the sound quality. I dont have the highest expectations for projector audio, but the Dolby Audio capability and volume range allows for a great budget cinematic experience even without a dedicated speaker. Overall, this product is a solid projector for the price range, even moreso if you can find it on sale!

> 24 hourWe were pleasantly surprised at how fast and easy it was to set up and use this projector. We didnt find instructions in the box, but no worries, there are QR codes right on the box that quickly bring you to the Users Manual. Set up is simple and only took my husband a few minutes. Half the battle is finding the right location to project to and from, but once that is done you only need to plug in the projector and turn it on. Theres no warm up period like with those old projectors from grade school, it starts right up. Connecting it to our home wifi was straightforward using the on-screen prompts, and from there I only needed to find something to stream from my phone or computer. We tend to use the (Windows) computer for projecting so we still have our phones available while the movie runs, but mirroring our phones is also quick and simple. I appreciate the included easy-to-navigate remote. The picture is surprisingly crisp and clear, even when projecting from 12 feet away in a somewhat light room, and the colors are quite rich. Projectors have come a long way in that regard! Even with the slight tint of the wall, the colors were so similar to the colors on the computer I was streaming from that I could barely tell the difference between the two. Im not a super visual person but I think just about anyone would be satisfied with the image quality from this projector. My photographer husband noticed the difference, but even he didnt mind it. The solution, of course, is to paint the wall white, or buy a screen, if it bothers you a lot, but I dont find it necessary. Also, there are easy keystone and focus adjustment tools, but everything looked great out of the box so we havent needed to use them. As other reviewers have noted, there is considerable fan noise, which is probably the biggest downside to this projector. I realize its necessary to have a fan inside the unit, but Id be lying if I said it wasnt noticeable and a little distracting. The projectors sound system is fine for most uses, but hooking up our Bose Soundbar to it takes it to the next level. We have no problem with the sound syncing with the picture - everything seems integrated and creates an impactful experience! We dont care for how a permanent large screen tv looks in our home, so this is a great solution to have a very large picture without a large screen tv. Set-up and use are super-simple and produce a pretty darn good viewing experience. We are very pleased with this the Nexigo PJ20 projector!

> 24 hourThe projector came well-packaged in foam, with power cord, remote, and a few extras like cleaning cloth and cotton swabs, and a basic composite cable to 3.5mm adapter if you happen to have a device that might work on. I dont, but I only planned on using a Chromecast or Roku plugged into one of the HDMI ports anyway, so I didnt need anything extra. Setup was easy enough. Just plug it in and push the power button on the back, which doubles as a basic vertical keystone correction knob. Theres no horizontal one, so youll have to just center the projector to the screen well enough that it wont matter. Theres a small foot that raises and lowers with a button push that helps to give you a little bit of adjustment physically to the height, though two would have been nice to keep it balanced and level it as needed. There doesnt seem to be a manual focus option either, so youll have to set it up at a distance that you can see whats on the screen clearly enough to use the menu initially. Focus is in digital increments, but its fine tuned enough that a few of the levels looked good to me. Once in the menu, along with the focus, you can set up things like selecting your inputs, resolution, picture controls, and set up WiFi and Bluetooth connections as needed. I chose HDMI1 and plugged in a Chromecast, also using one of the USB ports available on the back to power it up. It started right up and I was able to start streaming. The speakers sound good enough for my use on a patio, though Ill probably end up connecting an external speaker to it anyway. You dont really buy a projector based on the audio quality, so I wasnt expecting much anyway but its nice to know itll work just fine without an external one. Fan noise is low enough that I dont think anyone will notice it over the movie playing. The brightness and clarity on the screen in a fairly well-lit room on an off-white wall was really good for such a low priced projector, and the 1080p definitely was welcome and needed vs a 720p one. I plan on using this outdoors for movie nights with the family and friends, so the brightness in a lit up room was my test on how it might look outside at sunset. Im excited to try it out on the back patio soon. After first use, it seems like a great projector for the price overall.

> 24 hourSo, overall, this is a great budget projector. For the money, it produces a pretty good picture. For movies it performs great, and surprisingly is even passable for doing PC stuff - web browsing, text editing, etc. Its also nice and bright! My only complaint would be that they need to release a firmware update which makes the focus picture optional. I would like to use whatever my computer has on the screen as the basis for checking focus uniformity, but thats impossible since when you adjust the focus, the projector automatically casts a blue focusing picture on the screen. Thats nice if you want to use their picture to focus, but for those of us who would prefer to use whatever is on the screen (web page, photo, etc) to check focus, it just makes it impossible. Projectors of this price range are bound to have focus uniformity issues, which means that the user will spend a few minutes each session adjusting the focus, especially if you have to move the projector around often.
