The product is nice however, it does not heat on both ends. I have 2 smaller dogs and I purchased it so that they could both lay on it at the same time. So I would say about 3 inches on each side does not heat. I decided not to return it since they seem to all function this way, I m seeing

My 17 year old cat is now devoted to the heating pad. It does not seem overly warm to me, but she likes it just fine.

I like that I do not need to turn it on every day - it stays on. Might purchase another one. Cats like it.

The feral cat that I’ve been feeding for 2 1/2 years and he’s basically mine will still let me not get close enough to her to bring her in on extremely cold nights. We had a weeks worth of extremely cold weather with the windshield was 10 and 11°. I ordered this and put it in her little house and she just loves it! It saved the day

My cat LOVES this heating pad. She has several beds around the house but this one seems to be her favorite if she is not basking in the sun

Where the cord connected with the mat on mine was coming apart and looked like a hazard so this is one to replace it. Pup loves it in winter

Both of my cats love this heating mat. I just saw them fight over it for the first time today, so I may need to get a second one in the future. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I really wish it had an automatic setting where it would shut off on its own after a certain amount of hours. We arent always comfortable leaving it on when we arent home because it has to just stay plugged in if you want to use it. The cats still lay on it sometimes when it isnt on, but I wish I had more confidence in leaving it on 24/7 for my kitties. The one thing Im glad for is that it says it only heats to a maximum temperature of about 105°F (7° higher than a humans normal body temp), and it says it self adjusts its temp for energy efficiency when in use (i.e. turns down the heat a little when kittys body heat is added to the warmth). Other than the automatic turnoff feature being missing, Ive got nothing bad to say about it. We are happy customers.

I have bought many pet heat pads, and this one actually has a true low heat setting. If you are gone during the day or traveling, this consistent low heat setting provides just enough warmth to keep everyone happy and safe. Other pads can get too hot on the lowest setting for sleeping. Ive used it for about 4 months now. The one-star off is due to the heavy vinyl smell from the cover - its something else. I let it off-gas on my porch for a week before plugging in for use.

My cat is a little on the older side and not as sory as she used to be. She spends part of every day on the heating pad, snoozing happily. Its warm, never hot, so I dont worry about her being burned.

My cat absolutely LOVES this heating pad!!! Wish I had found it long ago. I would HIGHLY recommend this product for anyone who has and older, arthritic beloved cat.
