I bought 2 heating pads and put them down without a lot of introduction. My two senior cats soon found them and lie on them all the time - a big hit!

I was concerned that the pad would be too hot, since there are no adjustments for temperature, however, both me and my bunnies love this pad. Its got a well constructed cover and the cord is plastic covered metal. My bunnies, as tenacious as they are, they have managed to chew through the plastic cover of the metal cable, but they are certainly not getting through the metal. I have left this plugged in for a month, and there have been no issues. My rabbits are rather small and one of them enjoys the mat and the other uses it rarely, but I also enjoy sitting near it, it is a comfortable, warm temperature.

This is the second animal heating pad purchased. I like the fact that I do not have to adjust the temperatures. The pad has an upper and lower temp range, that it regulates by itself. The pad is plugged in from September thru April and seems to use little electricity. And best of all, the cats love this heating pad. Thats why I had to purchase another one. 2 paws up from the cats.

great! my dog was always crowding me off my heating pad so i got him his own! he loves it.

I wish since day one the controls for the heat has never work it just stays on. It doesn’t turn off and I wash the cover that goes on the pad and came out in shreds. I’d like to be able to get another pad so I can use this I only bought it in November.

Ive got three of these. First I bought one, for one cat in particular. It took her a day or two to warm up (hehe, no pun intended) to it, after walking away from it. Once she decided she liked it, she never looked back. Shes on it at least 50% of her time in the daytime. She is 17 years old. I bought two more, for two other cats. They, too, ignored them completely. Only now - April, long after the return window was closed - did I discover that one of the two pads is defective. A small part of it heats up, but not all of it. Im disappointed. However, the other two pads perform perfectly. The soft, fluffy covers I throw in the washing machine and then air dry. One of the other cats has discovered the second (working) pad and is beginning to enjoy it. The cord cant be chewed through. I didnt take any stars off the review even though one of the pads is defective, because the two that do work are working great.

I’m a little Yorkie. I get cold. No, I freeze in the winter. My grandmother bought me the 17x15 size. She puts it on the back of the couch for me. It’s my fav place at her house. Now! She’s getting even a larger warmer for her medium and small dogs to share. She’s a great pet parent. She absolutely loves this warmer!

I purchased this pad for my mothers very sick cat. He was losing a lot of body heat when he suffered from kidney disease, so he was freezing and miserable. As soon as we introduced him to this pad, he *finally* was able to relax. It was the only thing that brought him comfort during the final month of his life. It also brought immense comfort to us, seeing how happy it made him. After his passing, we passed the heating pad along to my younger cat, who is now absolutely loving this pad during the colder months of the year. What a wonderful device! Hopefully it lasts a long time to give my sweet fur baby many years of enjoyment.

Its soft and warm! I bought 3 for my old cats and dog to keep warm in the drafty cold months. Big enough for 2 cats. Like the chew proof cord!

I keep my house pretty cool and my cat refuses to sleep in bed, preferring to stay downstairs where its the coldest. At first, I was skeptical that my cat would use this. The pad is sort of hard with a thin cloth covering. But after a couple days, he started using it. I recommend turning it on an hour before its needed to let it warm up. Also start with the default lower temps first and work your way up. If you set it to high and its too hot, your pet may decide to avoid it altogether. Ive found that when its above freezing and like 65 degrees downstairs that the 4th level is good. Otherwise, I leave it in the default 3rd level.
