Noctua NF-A14 PWM chromax.Black.swap, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (140mm, Black)

This is an update as one of the two fans I purchased just up and failed. No warning, nothing wrong with the bearing and when I plugged in a different fan to the same connection the replacement worked fine.

Noctua fans are the best. Quiet operation in my mini ITX setup. Chromax black looks great with most builds. Highly recommended!

Noisy fans. Not great quality. Not a good purchase.

Best fans. Super quiet. They looks nice. I actually had to kneel down and look inside my pc to tell if they were actually running because they are so quiet. I will be purchasing more to replace some other noisy fans I have.

This is a great fan. The performance and noise levels are exactly what you would expect from a Noctua fan. However, it kind of feels like Noctuas adopted child because it doesnt come with the same accessories as the classic beige-brown Noctua fan. They made the cable that is attached to this fan longer, so there is maybe no need for the extension, but it also doesnt come with the y-adaptor, low noise adapter or silicone mounts. What it comes with, are colored anti-vibration mounts, but only 4 of each color. So you would have to put different colors on each side. Granted, you dont *have to* have them on the other side, so it might be fine for you.

I replaced the fans in my EVGA CLC 280 AIO because they werent the quietest and these made it whisper quit. I had to verify they are running.

I bought two of these to replace a case fan that finally died This fan is not only quiet but it is also efficient in terms and power usage.

Ordered 3 of these fans to replace my noisy fans. 1 fan was missing 1 white anti-vibration pad. I reached out to Noctua support and within a week they had sent me a new set of them. The fans are extremely quiet. Im able to ramp the speed up more than the old ones. That, in turn, has lowered my temps a few degrees.

The fans themselves are great, but I do not recommend them for compact spaces. Due to the extremely short cable the PWM socket and extension cable create a bulky slab of plastic that needs to fit somewhere around the fan. It made it difficult to get the dust filter on my Evolv case, but if the cables were longer I could have snaked the connection point away. I managed to tuck the connection point between the side of the fan and the case itself, but I was lucky to have enough space to do so. If you are working with limited space and need a long cable to move the connection point away from the fan I suggest finding something with a longer cable.

Im using it with a Noctua speed reducing resistor and its almost completely silent, yet moves a ton of air. Ive got it cooling a Yamaha receiver that is prone to overheating and likes to shut-down when it gets too hot. No thermal shutdowns since adding the fan, and its so quiet that it cant be heard just a few feet away. The included rubber mounts allow me to just set it on the receiver and it doesnt move or vibrate at all. Perfect. Noctua makes the best fans.
