> 3 dayTop notch quality and silent unless you have your ear up to the case. I added this onto my Noctua CPU cooler for a push/pull fan setup. These rival water cooling solutions as hard as it is to believe and cool quietly even on the hottest high performance CPU’s out there.

> 3 dayDoes not come with mounting clips. Just a warning, youll have to contact noctua directly for them if you need

> 3 dayI dont here anything from this damn fan, and thats with no restrictor pin, but I m running this dual fan on my Noctua heatsink, and I dont really feel like its blowing that hard, as well I equipped the recommended extra padded corners, but they arent needed, the normal ones minimize noise the same.

> 3 daySo I own a 1950x threadripper and bought the Noctua NH-U14S TR4-SP3 and I was IN LOVE. My temps were really low on load and idle but of course you always want to make it better even if its the smallest difference. So I bought this fan based on the directions from the NH-U14S TR4-SP3 as a pull fan for push/pull configuration. I plugged it into SYSTEM_1 header and cranked it up full speed and was only hitting 1150-1180s. I thought to myself wait isnt it supposed to go as fast as the push fan does? The fan that comes with the NH-U14S TR4-SP3 runs at 1500rpm. So I decide to plug it into every header on my motherboard (CPU_1, PUMP_FAN, SYS_3, SYS_4) to see if that would fix the MAX RPM. It didnt and then i was even more irritated because it was making a squeal/clicking sound at 1000+ rpm. I thought to myself Im going to have to run this at 900 while the other fan is at 1500 to not be annoyed by this sound? So I go back to the specs for this fan online and realize its not meant to go higher than 1200! BUT that doesnt solve the sound at max rpm. I read the directions of the cooler and realize I FORGOT TO INSTALL THE THICK SPACERS... this fixed the sound easily. I run it at max 1200rpm and sound is still great. Now the only thing Im wondering is if the PULL fan is meant to be HIGHER than the PUSH fan because theres no way it clears the memory if I bring down the PULL as low as the PUSH. The thick spacers just wont allow it unless you want to bend your memory... and so now Im just waiting on Noctua to answer my question on Amazon and see if its meant to be raised higher than the push fan. It does pretty much allign with the rear exhaust on my tower but its less than an inch close to my tempered glass side panel if you look at the photo. In the end I dont even think I see a difference in temps... the things we do to make our setups that much better lol.

> 3 dayThese r the big boys. But still made them work. They r quiet on start up but after a week they do get a little more noisy. But I do have three fans a cpu and to chassis fans. Works great to move air

> 3 dayI have a Noctua NH-C12P SE14 CPU cooler in my latest build. It came with the 140mm round fan, but it had the 3pin power connector instead of the newer 4 pin PWM connector my motherboard wanted. The CPU heatsink is a huge thing and this 140x150x25mm frame fan is a better fit than the round version. The heatsink is a down facing model with the fan blowing down on the motherboard components. Big bonus is it seems a little quieter than the previous fan. Not sure if its the level of the noise or the color of the noise, but it sounds better. It comes with removeable rubber pads to keep vibration to a minimum in applicable installations. They didnt come into contact in my situation, so I removed them; but they would be sweet in other applications. SpeedFan 4.47, a Windows monitor utility, picks up the RPM signal from the fan. I dont bother adjusting the fan speed, its quiet enough to just run full speed all the time, which also gives max cooling to the motherboard components. Color ? Its a delightfully ugly color that grows on you. Yeah, its subversive and expensive, but capitalism at its finest.

> 3 dayGood fans, I like it. ~5 years and no issues, no vibration, no noise. But a price is high.
