> 3 dayThese fans move a lot of air and do so very quietly. Mounting them proved to be a bit of an issue in the case I used, but thats more a fault of the case than this fan. Having the extra 10mm over a 140mm fan is a great idea. Quality of fan and installation tools/accessory is top notch and exactly what I expected from Noctua.

> 3 dayI have a Noctua NH-C12P SE14 CPU cooler in my latest build. It came with the 140mm round fan, but it had the 3pin power connector instead of the newer 4 pin PWM connector my motherboard wanted. The CPU heatsink is a huge thing and this 140x150x25mm frame fan is a better fit than the round version. The heatsink is a down facing model with the fan blowing down on the motherboard components. Big bonus is it seems a little quieter than the previous fan. Not sure if its the level of the noise or the color of the noise, but it sounds better. It comes with removeable rubber pads to keep vibration to a minimum in applicable installations. They didnt come into contact in my situation, so I removed them; but they would be sweet in other applications. SpeedFan 4.47, a Windows monitor utility, picks up the RPM signal from the fan. I dont bother adjusting the fan speed, its quiet enough to just run full speed all the time, which also gives max cooling to the motherboard components. Color ? Its a delightfully ugly color that grows on you. Yeah, its subversive and expensive, but capitalism at its finest.

> 3 dayAdded to the backside of an Noctura HS and works great. I have other Noctura as pull in the front and this and others on the HS as push. Keeps my system cool and replaced an aging AIO Water Loop.

> 3 dayI dont have alot of cpu fans to compare but, this thing works very well. I bought 3 120mm for my case intake 1 140mm for exaust. These are very quiet fans. I also have the cpu cooler. I get temps lower than some loops i have seen. Running R73800x at around 33c :) I also get over 4.5 boosts:)

> 3 dayThis is a 4pin, pwm, 140mm fan with 120mm mounting holes. In the box, youll find the fan, 4 rubber mounting grommets, 4 metal mounting screws, a Y-pwm-splitter cable, an extension cable, and a low-noise adapter that lowers the maximum fan speed.

> 3 dayI bought this fan to be the pusher on the front side of my heatsink and it works great at moving more air quietly. Noctua makes awesome heatsinks especially for my Threadripper.

08-06-2025I got these fans (yes plural) to cool a large case with ten 3.5 hard disks. I found them to be totally inadequate, even when tied directly to the 12V PS output. I also have several 120MM fan from Cooler Master, Sythe, Phantek, Artcic, and others, they all move more air and are just as quiet (or almost as quiet) as these are. I bought this model and the black ones with colored corners, both models are NF-A15 and they both stink.

> 3 dayIf your already looking at buying a noctua fan then you already know they are the best so just buy it already.
