Great fan and very quiet. I am using it as a second fan for my Noctua NH-U14S CPU Cooler. Quite a step-up from the cheep ones that I had in my old computer. I am very satisfied and a purchase another.

Awesome fan if you want a push/pull configuration with the NH-U14S. This fan is rated to run at 1200rpm, the fan that comes with the NH-U14S cooler runs at 1500rpm. Use the LNA to run the both fans at 1200rpm. Just a little piece of information that I overlooked while setting the fans in a push/pull configuration. Reading the directions really does help. Spins faster, is quieter, and better preforming than any fan Ive ever had.

I ordered this along with a NF-F14 PWM to replace the stock non-PWM fans on my NH-D14 CPU cooler. After installing these fans, I noticed a clicking noise common with PWM fans. After reading reviews and descriptions from Noctuas website, I was led to believe that Noctua had eliminated the dreaded clicking associated with PWM fans. I was ready to send these back and go back to the stock fans when I decided to make sure these were the culprits. After process of elimination, I determined it actually wasnt these fans, but one of the stock fans on my case! I hadnt noticed it before due to the stock NH-D14 fans being a little louder, but these are so quiet it allowed me to hear the subtle clicking from the stock Corsair AF140L on my case!

I replaced the stock fan for the Fractal Design Node 304 case with this and was one the best decisions I made with that build

Using this in my new Fractile Design S6 with a Noctua cooler ,very quiet and keeps the cpu at a low temp.

There are less expensive fans out there and even more cheaper fans. I havent tried every fan on the market because Im not made of money but out of the fans Ive bought not only for computer cases, various CPU cooler and other projects these Noctua fans are great. I dont mind the colours but some people really dont like the usual Noctua colour scheme. I truly enjoy the near silence of these fans even when running at full speed. I bought one of their massive CPU cooling towers but with only one fan. Decided later to add the second fan just to see if it would help. I didnt really need it but with how quiet the first fan was I figured it wouldnt hurt to throw in a second one and see what happened. Even with the two fans I have to try to hear them. My cases fans are louder and are from a different manufacturer that are also supposed to be almost silent but arent as quiet as the Noctuas.

If your already looking at buying a noctua fan then you already know they are the best so just buy it already.

I have to eat a little crow regarding my earlier review. I had installed the cooler incorrectly (the most obvious mistake too), Id installed the cooling fan on the wrong side of the heat sink. My cooling fan was competing with the case air-flow direction, and with the case exhaust.

If you dont want to read everything I have to say about this fan, let me sum it up: This fan is awesome. Very quiet and powerful. It comes with useful adapters and mounting solutions. I recommend it completely.
