Noctua NF-A9 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (92mm, Brown)

Noctua fans are quiet, efficient and typically lower inside case temps. They are fantastic.

Replaced an 8 year old fan which was included with my Shuttle case with this Noctua and the difference is stark. Not only is it virtually silent, it keeps the CPU much cooler in the process. Big thumbs up.

I have a Silverstone TJ07 Computer Case that utilizes 2 (two) 92 mm case fans. Finding good fans at 92 mm is pretty tough, as it is not a very popular fan size. I decided to give these Noctua fans a try, as I know they are very high quality and move a decent amount of air with a minimum of noise. I purchased the PWM model, even though I am controlling it with a 3 pin fan controller. The 3 pin controller is working fine to adjust the speed on the Noctua fans, and the fans are working great. The only reason for the 4 stars is that I dislike the pinkish beige color of the fan frame, (which was not going to work in my black, white, and silver build), and so I went ahead and painted the frame, (not the blade) with Krylon Satin Black Fusion paint, which works really well with plastics. This makes the 92 mm Noctua fans look like one of their new Industrial fans, with the black frames. Sure, maybe I voided the warranty, but Noctua will be happy to make and sell me more fans should I need them.

Super quiet and never had one quit.

Top quality is an overused phrase; the best available at any price is a better description for all Noctua fans. I replaced every one of my high-end gaming rig fans (six case fans, two GPU fans - for the GPU water cooler, and two CPU fans - for the equally-incredibly awesome Noctua CPU twin tower heatsink cooler).

I know there are other good fan companies out there, but Ive become a snob about using Noctua for cooling my builds. Ive had their fans last me nearly 10 years, and while quality does tend to change over time, theirs seems to have stayed high. I fully recommend their products.
