Noctua NF-A9 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (92mm, Brown)

> 3 dayWow, this is so quiet that when I installed it to replace my foxconn 92mm exhaust fan (that was too loud and whiney) at first I thought it wasnt working. I can only hear it a tiny bit in the dead of night. It even lowered my cpu temp by 1 degree at heavy load. Im also using a Noctua NF-A8 PWM case fan on my Ryzen 3600 cpu so my HP Pavillion PC is now nearly as silent as my laptop (however my cpu temps went up a few degrees under heavy load with the lower powered Noctua 80mm fan so no overclocking with my current rig). Noctua fans are definitely worth the money for people who need a quiet computer.

> 3 dayI used this product to replace two 92mm fans on some workstation-class R17 LGA2011 air coolers. The ball bearings on those fans seem barbaric now that my new noctua fans have zero bearing noise, and a gentle woosh of air. And when one of my five currently-employed noctua fans wears out over the next six years, I know noctua will be there with a warranty service.

Greater than one weekNoctua fans have a distinct reputation within the DIY community... and for good reason! 92mm fans are not always known as being the quietest, but this one is definitely an exception. I decided to replace the 14mm thin fan that comes with the

> 3 dayAs is mostly the case with Noctua they designed a good fan here. Does exactly what I need for its size and is very quiet at the same time. Far quieter at full speed than many others. Not for the faint of wallet though.
