> 3 dayI love this fan/heatsink. Its pretty much silent, which is awesome compared to my previous fan that was causing noise pollution with its whine. I can now hear myself think again. It easily clears RAM and motherboard heatsink (my motherboard has a big MSI heatsink on it). Its a big fan/heatsink but it fit comfortably enough on my motherboard and in my case. I mounted the fan on top instead of on bottom because it was a little easier to install and it looks cool through the window on the side of my case. Installation was a bit of a pain but the provided instructions were clear and I didnt run into any major issues. The packaging was pretty impressive for something so utilitarian...everything felt like a premium product. It comes with everything you need including a screwdriver!

> 3 dayBought this for my NCASE M1 and this cooler delivered. Silent and performs more or less like Noctuas tower coolers like U12s and U12a. Definitely performed better than my old U9S from Noctua as well

> 3 dayThe heatsink was very easy to install! it is BIG! but it does give ample room for your video card, being that it is a Little offset from center. Really happy with the purchase.

> 3 dayMounting issue. When I lay the case flat down horizontally like a HTPC or rack server, the performance is almost as good as my Noctua D15s. Once I shift the case into normal vertical orientation, temperatures went from 63 to 72 degree Celsius real fast (Ive remounted and tested this multiple times). Ive also tested this with the heat pipes facing in every possible direction except for top-to-bottom, as instructed by Noctua. I guess this cooler is more suited towards HTPC chassis such as Fractal Node 304, because performance takes a hit if you use it in a tower case. My theory is that either the concave base loses optimal contact with the processor when positioned in a vertical orientation, or the bent heat pipes have trouble in that configuration, which might also explains the varying results from many different professional reviews on the Internet.

Greater than one weekIm so impressed with this fan. I decided to build a gaming PC but wanted it small, so went with the Thermaltake Core V1 case and a mini ITX Z97 board with i5-4690K so I could overclock. I was going to do a self contained water cooler but all the ones around $100 had so so reviews, with most people replacing the fan on the radiator with a Noctua one anyway. So thought Id take a chance and just go air cooling. The fan in the photo looks small but its still huge. Fits fine in my case with the fan under the radiator vs on top like in the photos (it supports both methods as well as adding a second fan). I overclocked my system from 3.5Ghz to 4.2Ghz and on idle Im running around 26-29 degrees C and when using 100% under Prime95 for stress testing I never go over 59. Highest Ive ever seen it hit was 61. Even when on full at 59 degrees the fan is insanely quiet, to the point that I had to turn the TV right off to try and hear it. With the system on the floor you cant hear it at all. Very impressed and highly recommended. Photo shows my rig with it installed to show the size.

> 3 dayNot enough cooling power if you have a high end PC. It was supposed to be alright based on their numbers but it didnt pass the cut...

> 3 dayHave it In a corsair crystal 460x case cooling a 3820 I7. Temps are 50c on load, they occasionally. go up to 52-53. Also have it on a i7 7700k in a Corsair 750d plenty of room. Keeps temps around 71 on max load. I dont have any other coolers to compare to as this is the only one I ever buy.
