Noctua NH-D15, Premium CPU Cooler with 2X NF-A15 PWM 140mm Fans (Brown)

The mounting took a little more force than I was comfortable with. Installed on an asus z270e gaming motherboard.

After an issue with my water-cooled system that nearly ruined my PC, I decided to go back to air cooling. This cooler gives me the same temps I was getting with my water cooled setup and it actually quiter than the pump and radiator fans I had been using before. Fast forward 2 years; for my most recent build I decided to switch back to AMD with a Ryzen build, only to discover my cooler hadnt come with AM4 mounting hardware. After some searching, I found Noctua will send you new mounting hardware for the new socket type free of charge. You dont even pay for shipping! The cooler might seem a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Amazing cpu. I have own many cpu and this one is too end . Yes you may pay more but worth every penny. I run on this bad boy I5 12600k overclock at 5ghz and ram 3600oc . The temp on idle is anything from 30 to 35 c and load I’m running from 40 to 45 C this is on max setting modern warfare and lost ark and halo infinity and running Rtx 3060 xc. Again the computer is placate basement and it’s cooler there from room temp 19-20c also using mid tower case with 3 front fans and one at the back. Again if you wanted to stay away from water cooling this cpu would be the #1 choice

Highly recommended. I was looking to swap out my AIO after another pump failure. Decided to try an air cooler. Its way cheaper than an AIO, and it works better than many of the top AIO brands. I got an FX-9590 which runs hot. This keeps ambient case temps under 32C, under load, while CPU temp only ever reached about max 60C under load. Fans are completely silent. A nice change from the garbage AIO fans that sound like an airplane engine.

This thing is gigantic but fits in my Cooler Master Haf-X case without issue. raised one of the fans up to clear my memory. My friends are jealous of it.

Its only when you get the cooler installed you see how massive it is. Having used a water-cooled which broke in Under 30 days this will probably outlast me. Excellent cooling. Would recommend just make sure your case is big enough.

Keeps my CPU (Intel Core i7 8700K) at a frosty 28C at idle, even inside a case with sound-proofing (Nanoxia Deep Silence 3).

I just finished building a gaming & streaming PC for my son. I decided since we would be overclocking the processor, I needed to go with a reliable heat sink. Came across this Noctua NH-D15 6 heatpipe with Dual NF-A15 140mm fans on Amazon and after reading all the reviews, figured it was probably worth the extra money. I couldnt be happier. The product comes in an extremely well-packaged box. Everything is clearly labeled and has install instructions, tools & thermal paste included for your install. It will work with a variety of processors, so it has clear install instructions for each one. Let me re-iterate the comments of others...this thing is BIG! Make sure you arent trying to fit this in a small form-factor case because it will not fit. It is large, but it is made to last! It is not cheap by an stretch of the imagination. Absolutely the BEST heat-sink/fan combo Ive ever come across in my years of PC support and repair. It is literally silent, even at full CPU usage. Its dual fans do a great job of pushing large volumes of air through the coils. I have a Corsair 200R case and have no issues with this installed alongside the extremely large Nvidia GTX 1080 SC graphics card. This is not the cheapest heat sink available, but you will have a hard time finding one that is of better quality. A++

I used this CPU cooler in my desktop as i was replacing the stock cooler the coolers mounting instructions and kit was excellent and i had everything installed in about 20minutes it also includes enough thermal paste for about 20 attempts at installing the cooler Also Noctuas support was top notch and they responded to my questions within 2 days.
