Noctua NH-D15, Premium CPU Cooler with 2X NF-A15 PWM 140mm Fans (Brown)

At first i thought it will not fit on my Gigabyte H81M-D2V motherboard but it fits perfectly. The CPU temperature has gone from 70 degrees in games to 40 and I am pleased with the purchase. Noctua website was useful and their customer service too who ensured the cooler will fit and it did.

This is a cooler for 7700k like hottest CPU. With reputed water cooler and 3000 rpm fan max. temperature was 82C. Now with Noctua NH D15 and Noctua stock fan max. temperature. is 73C. But there are 2 facts that everyone should know. I bent the cpu socket pin by mounting most popular cheap heat pipe tower cooler. The most popular brand is not Noctua. So be aware from most popular air cooler. The mounting system of the D15 is the best among known competitors. 2nd this cooler is not for every motherboard. This cooler is specially not compatible with many micro ATX board. Check the Noctua website before order.

This cooler is big, heavy and awesome. Its performance is great. With i7-4790K, without turbo boost and clocked to run at max 4.4GHz, my CPU stays cool all the time. With windows settings to lower CPU freq when its not needed my, my CPU stays in 32-35C range with fans turn off. This cooler allowed me to make completely silent PC at idle / office work / browsing internet.

Zählt zu den teueren Coolern, aber ist sehr gut. Er ist sehr leise. Man kann ihn kaum hören. Der Benutzer muss aber beim Kauf aufpassen, dass sein Case groß genug ist, weil dieses Teil relativ groß ist.

If you care more about colors and cool lights, then look elsewhere. What we have here is the equivalent of an american muscle car wit ha v12 engine that runs so quiet that it could be confused for a prius.

Compré este producto para un procesador con fama de ser muy exigente en cuanto a refrigeración: Skylake-X i7 7820X subido de frecuencia (overclock) a 4,7GHz (+delidding)... y este disipador es capaz de mantener a raya las temperaturas, sin que suba de 80ºC bajo pruebas de estrés, y con temperaturas mucho más bajas en condiciones más realistas. Para el overclock que tiene el procesador, y lo que se calienta de por sí (tiene un TDP de 140W sin overclock) está bastante bien.

Habe den Vorgänger D14 schon seit 775er Tagen im Einsatz und habe aus diesem Grund mich bewusst für den Nachfolger entschieden.

It seemed this was top of the line for air cooling and I didnt want to spend a lot on a water cooled setup.

Wow what a difference! Went from stock cpu cooler and after much research and consideration made this wonderful purchase and am very very happy. Was spiking high Temps on startup and playing games and dropped temp substantially after installation. Im sure better thermal compound has some to do with it but a 30c to 40c isnt just paste. This thing with both fans and good thermal paste coverage is the bees knees.
