Nutricost L-Lysine 1000mg Per Serving, 250 Servings, 500 Capsules - Gluten Free, Non-GMO, 500mg Per Capsule

This is the only company that does not list the amount of product in each capsule. It is very misleading. It says Nutricost L-Lysine 1000 mg, 500 capsules suggesting that you get 500 capsules with 1000 mg in each capsule. Not so. There is only 500 mg per capsule. The devil is in the fine print: 1000 mg is per serving (which is 2 capsules). Most people can figure out that there are only 500 mg per capsule from this, but the overall label and large letters misleads consumers to think each capsule has 1000 mg.

I take this vitamin religiously. I have major lip herpes and I’m on medicine for it . But I still take these to help outbreaks!

Im ordering this for the second time as this is a great quality lysine. If I get a fever, I will get a cold sore the following week. However, this has spared me from getting them many times!! Thank you!

I was glad to find a 500 mg pill as I take Lysine daily to prevent cold sores. These pills are unexpectedly large (1 long) and not that easy to swallow for me, even though they are the plastic coated capsules. They were shipped on time and the product is as described

I have used L-Lysine for years and decided to try ordering it from Amazon instead of buying my usual kind at the store. I always get 1000mg pills and thought that was what I was ordering. They are actually 500mg with a 2 pill serving. That doesnt work well for me because I take at LEAST 1000mg at a time. I dont want to be taking 4 capsules on the days when I need 2000mg at a time. I realize I made an error in not reading as carefully as I should have, but I find this to be deceptive. Also, the inner seal is very difficult to get open, I had to use a knife even though there was a pull tab.

Take a mega dose when you feel a cold sore coming. Works great.

This is the best L-Lysine supplement I have gotten they work really fast for endurance. But don’t let the 1000mg mislead you they are 500mg capsules so you will have to take two of them for 1000mg (that’s a serving) They are easy to swallow about medium in size.
