> 3 dayMost OTC Lysine tablets are just that. Hard Tablets. These are capsules rather big but extremely easy to swallow. As far as effectiveness, I have found that they work just as well as other brands I have purchased.

> 3 dayMy family and I decided to eat a plant-based/whole foods diet earlier this year and began to notice our gum health was not the same as it was before. Someone we knew who also had done a plant based diet had also mentioned irritation in their gums. With a little research we discovered that now that we were missing cheese and dairy and eggs and fish, we were probably not getting enough Lysine. So we went to Walmart and bought some over the counter Lysine tablets. Well they were large enough to choke a horse and tasted horrible, so we knew we needed another solution. Like a superhero, along came these capsules to save the day. They seriously were a lifesaver! Easy to swallow and great at providing the needed Lysine addition to our dietary choice. I have noticed significant improvement in my gum health and after recently going to the dentist, he didnt notice anything bad (they normally dont with us but hey, maybe the Lysine helped!) The only thing that is kind of a bummer is that the capsules are made with gelatin which is an animal product. So, with sticking with a plant based/whole foods diet, it does go against in a minimal way, but the ease of use and the incredible difference in form compared to the tablets from Walmart may be worth the compromise. Dunno, decide for you!

> 3 dayFor vitamins & supplements, I like to use them for about a month before making my assessment. That being being said, I purchased & started using this product about a month ago, after reading about the benefits of l-lysine for acne & canker sores/mouth ulcers. I like that this product is a capsule & easy to swallow. It seemed to help with my acne the first week, but since then, my acne hasn’t improved & my mouth sores didn’t heal quicker than usual, which I was disappointed about. Also, it made me burp seconds after taking it. Every. Morning. So strange haha. Unfortunately, I just missed the date for the return policy so now I’m stuck with a big o bottle :(
