If you’re looking for a fun little robot you can control with your phone that resembles a vacuum, then this might work. Setup was easy and the unit did a decent job of navigating around our house. The battery life was more than enough, but the vacuum itself isn’t as strong as the more expensive brands. Update: The manufacturer saw my review and jumped to action to replace the unit with one that works as planned. Customer service has been great and I’ll add more details once I can get the new one setup.

TL;DR would recommend *on sale,* but dont expect perfection. Okay so lemme preface this that I am physically disabled, autistic, and have two thick haired cats. Before I got this machine I didnt even want to get out of bed when I had the energy or needed to, because the floor was dirty and it caused major sensory issues. The floor was dirty because I rarely had the energy to clean the house. This machine is not perfect by a long shot, but it has allowed me the ability to more comfortably move around my house when I have the energy. Pros: ~Cleans. It doesnt clean perfect, but my floors are a lot cleaner. They look and feel cleaner. ~Not loud. I cant vaccum, only sweep or mop due to sensory issues, but this doesnt bother me. I can be paying attention or have it as background noise and its fine. ~Actually collects pet hair. Like you cant even say that for some full size vaccums. ~Collects human hair. I have long hair, it collects it, and the stuff that does get tangled around the bristles is super easy to untangle. Cons: ~You still have to clean up after it. Like I dont have sensory issues walking barefoot now, but the floor still needs to be mopped, and there is dirt in the corners. Somewhat expected, but I was expecting a tad bit more? ~Gets trapped places. Got into my bathroom but messed up my floor towel doing so, and couldnt get themselves out. Also gets stuck in corners? ~Small container. I mean, again, expected, but its still a bit frustrating to have it run a cycle, fill up half way through, and keep running until the battery is out. ~Remote turns it on, but cant get it home. ~Actually only you can get it home. If it runs into furniture it gets lost going home and cant make it. You need to pick it up and point it with a direct path home. Thats probably the biggest issue. I do really like this. It was around 100 dollars. I wouldnt pay more than that, based on the fact I have to guide it home, but Im still happy my house is a significant bit cleaner.

I was not sure how this would work on my house floors, because my house is not the norm, lots of angles and the rooms are not laid out the same as average homes. It took a little time to train it ;) and it was a little frustrating at first. However, I have used it to do whole area and also along the edge, and I am so happy for it does an awesome job. I have long hair, so I do have to cut some hair off the brushes after I use it ( cutter included). It also works great sucking up dog hair, the dirt he brings into the house, and does a pretty good job on the area rug in my living room, but works best on wooden or tile floors. I am happy with it and would recommend it to friends.

Although usable the remote doesnt have great reception or options for the vacuum. Kinda slow to go back to the dock. Mapping is a wifi only thing but I tried it and hated it.

Decent vacuum but it does have some caveats. For the price, I didnt expect it to do too much. I saw a lot of reviews that complained about it not picking up stuff on carpet. This model is meant for hardwood flooring only and maybe an extremely flat rug but other than that its pretty basic. It has a suction port. No brush so it wont pick up anything from carpet. Its fine for my use as I only have carpet one room. It took around 30 minutes to set up because it couldnt connect to my wi-fi for whatever reason. I ended up having to completely reset it to get it to find my wi-fi. It worked fine after that. For my 790 sq ft home, the cleaning cycle took about 40 minutes. The areas it cleaned in those 40 minutes were the kitchen, dining room, living room, hallway and bathroom. It doesnt seem to go in any particular order. It kind of bounces around in a area until it feels like its cleaned the whole area then it moves to the next area. It picks up well but you have to make sure you have all cords, shoes, etc put away because the vacuum will suck those right up. It did get stuck a few times and it mostly was able to get itself out from the area it was stuck in. I had to rescue it twice so far. Once from underneath the couch and once under the lamp as it happened to jump up onto a pile of cords. It actually beeps a few times to tell you it needs to be rescued. Thats a pretty decent feature. One feature I do have an issue with is once its done with the cleaning cycle, it has a hard time finding its charging base. The instructions state that if you move the base during the cleaning cycle or start the robot from an area other than the charging station, the robot will have a hard time finding the base. I dont find this to be true because my robot has started every cleaning cycle from the base and when the cleaning cycle ends, the vacuum goes everywhere but to its based. Sometimes it takes it a while to get docked if it finishes in another room or sometimes even near by. It roams around lost for 10 minutes before docking itself or me self docking it. Im not sure what the trick is to get it to dock in its place every time. Other than that, for the price, its decent. Its a decent vacuum to have for in between cleaning. Most certainly its not a replacement for a full size vacuum.

Ok. So I have 2 SHORTHAIRED dogs. I emphasized Shorthaired bc short vs long makes a difference. One of my heathens enjoys picnicking on the living room rug rather than eating out of her bowl so there’s wee tiny dog hairs and kibble EVERYWHERE & I’m tired of sweeping every day. I got it for downstairs which is wood flooring with area/accent rugs. Ethel - I named the vac Ethel - is a baddie. 20 minutes out of the box & she’s sucking up all the things. Bits of kibble, pointer-fetti (aka dog hair), a random petrified macaroni I didn’t even know was living under the cabinet like it paid rent - all of the things. As for rugs - she hopped herself right up on the thick area rug in the living room & went to work. The rubber-backed kitchen mats seem to get wadded under her tho so, simple fix, I’ll just shake them out & put them up when she’s gonna do her thing. The pic is after about 20-30 minutes of her wandering around. And I swept YESTERDAY. She comes with extra spinny arms & an extra filter - the filter is washable which I didn’t realize when I bought her, but YAY. I took off a star bc I haven’t been able to get her to talk to the app yet, but she’s got a remote so I don’t much care. It’s clear she’s not going to be set off remotely in this house anyhow. One of the dogs is convinced she’s going to kill her, the other dog is trying to kill Ethel. Basically I have one pointer on the sofa acting like an elephant with a mouse & the other posturing, growling, & pointing at her. Prey-drive engaged. I’ll also add - she’s quieter than expected which is just icing at this juncture.
