These little knives are handy to have around for cutting precisely. They are smaller and easier to carry around than regular box cutter knives. I like to use them for many a different project. I cannot live without them so I have three now.

Nice little utility snap off knife. The one downside is that this model does NOT come with an auto lock mechanism. While I mostly just use the knife for light duty crafting, it definitely would give me more confidence during use. If the auto-lock is something you care about, personally I would recommend look into the similar model, OLFA Silver SVR-2. The Silver model also has a slightly longer body, which can hide the tip of a new blade in a bit deeper than this model.

I bought this to cut veneer for an inlay project. It worked perfectly. Blades are razor sharp, strong and long-lasting. The blade locking mechanism is smooth and secure. Overall, it is very well made (in Japan) and well worth the price!

20 plus years ago I did window tinting professionally, this is the blade I used. Feels great in your hand, cuts like butter & It will last a lifetime.

I think this model received the Good Design award in Japan. I love this sleek design. This is my 2nd purchase (I lost it my original knife which I bout 1990).

I love these cutters - simple, strong, last for years, even decades. Careful - blades are super sharp! Like Mom said - always cut away from yourself. The automatic answer for opening all sorts of packaging including evil blister packs.
