> 3 dayThe perfect all-purpose blade, for arts and crafts, for slicing cardboard boxes, for my home toolbox. So easy to extend or retract with the slightest shift of a thumb, and slips into the pocket without bulk, and without worry of an accidental cut. Always a sharp edge right there, and when youve finally gone through all the snap off edges, the replacements are easy and cheap. I still have my faithful exacto knife when I need to get in with that point, but use this Olfa even more for ...everything.

Greater than one weekNice little utility snap off knife. The one downside is that this model does NOT come with an auto lock mechanism. While I mostly just use the knife for light duty crafting, it definitely would give me more confidence during use. If the auto-lock is something you care about, personally I would recommend look into the similar model, OLFA Silver SVR-2. The Silver model also has a slightly longer body, which can hide the tip of a new blade in a bit deeper than this model.

> 3 dayThese knives are fantastic. Always sharp, and well made. Ive used these for weeding vinyl in the application of vehicle lettering and graphics. They always preform great.

> 3 dayI do a lot of hand trimming & this is the best I’ve owned. I purchased this 2nd one for my auxiliary work table. I bought some other plastic cased olfa blade & it’s just not strong enough to apply the pressure one needs to exert to make a clean trim.

> 3 dayIdk whats not to like? Very simplistic, straight forward, and sharp. If youre a 12 volt installer or tinter, you need it.

> 3 dayA coworker left a note saying he lost his knife (he really wrote “someone stole my knife”). Later he found his knife and left it out for me to see when I came in on my shift. As soon as I clicked out the blade I knew I had to have one of these, I cut some vinyl stickers with this knife to mask the parts off too paint; they cut nicely and this razor didn’t get dull as quickly as the other snap razors I’ve been using. I’m a steelworker and I can say whatever steel Olfa makes their razor blades from is better than the made in China generic razors I get at work for free. This is a quality tool. Worth the price. I use it every day. Posting a picture I took after engraving my name on it (in case it comes up missing at work), I’m trusting in the pocket clip and the front pocket of my workshirt and my engraving to keep it in my possession.

> 3 dayI bought my first Olfa Silver snap blade razor over 15 years ago. I love it! It has seen me though countless moves and is none the worse for wear. The blades are super sharp and when they finally wear out, just break off another segment. Where else can you find a $10 product that exudes such quality? Hold it in your hand -- it feels solid, as if milled from a solid piece of metal. The fit and finish are first rate. The plastic blade holder clicks with authority. And the name - Olfa Silver - what could be better than that?
