My husband has different types of knives for his work as a mechanic. Why? Im not sure but I suppose that he needs to be up on all the latest box-opening mechanisms. This one is very sturdy!!

Broke after 6 months. Blade broke.

Works very well, Very durable, I use it multiple times every day. And blades are very sharp.

Used these for years. Use them all day, every day. This one does not have the slide lock, but I dont need one for my daily use. If you need a slide lock, buy the SVR-2.

Ive been using these Olfa blades for over 15 years and they never failed me. I lost one to airport security forgetting it clipped in my pocket, lost a clip at one point, and of all the Olfa blades Ive had, Ive only managed to bend one housing. 12+ years in sign and graphics cutting material all day, opening boxes, breaking down cardboard, wrapping vehicles and trailers, and 3+ years using them as basic utility knives selling, building, and training people on digital cutters. I have these things stashed around my house for quick access in the garage, kitchen, and desk. Its the only knife Ill continue to buy.

We use these in our sign shop. They are some of the best knives available. The are comfortable in the hand and the retractable knife blade is great.

I bought this on a whim. I needed a blade to use while on the job that was strong, small enough to fit in my shirt pocket and stay there. This blade is perfect. I have had it for several months and have never had an issue with it. I work as an maintenance engineer in a hotel and I am constantly using this blade. Opening cardboard boxes, removing silicon, cutting wallpaper... you name it I have used it to do it. I like that it is small enough for fine detail work and strong enough for tough jobs. I am going to buy another just so that if I lose this one I wont have to go without.
