It took a little longer to set up than I thought but, but could be my fault. It does work very well. I can use the Alexa app on my phone to turn it on and off.

I got it right before the holidays and is one of the best purchases of that time. I love it, its easy setup and the timer its a plus.

I have 5 of these for my Christmas display and they have made my life so easy. They work all season long through rain and snow. Well worth the investment.

Easy to use. So far has been reliable. Love the convenience of not having to be home or go outside to turn my holiday lights on and off.

EDIT: It is now 1 year after owning it. I brought it back out for my Christmas lights and it’s not working. I can’t connect it to the wifi, therefore it’s not working.... don’t know what to do. I bought this for all of our Christmas decorations outside and for our Christmas tree inside. It’s easy to set up since you just download the app hold down the button on the plug and it connects. We have really slow internet (15gb) and it installed perfectly. I set up a timer for all of the lights to turn on at 5pm and shut off at 12am. It works great! I do wish it was easier to set up a schedule for each plug.. other then that it’s a great product!

Great plug, you have to set it up in the app required in instructions first. To set it up with 5.0 Wifi, it has to be set up manually. But, got them working with Alexa now!

I bought this at Christmas to control my lights. Fortunately I also bought two other brands, because time was short and I needed to be sure my light display would work. Unfortunately this switch never worked, but the other two brands I bought did work fine. And they all use the Homelife app so go figure. I am happy for those people who had good luck with it. I never did, mine was a total lemon. I just tried again today to see if I could get it to work. It just wont connect to anything. So maybe you can order one and get lucky, or maybe you wont get lucky. Why bother with an unreliable product when the competition is really great. There are many other reliable brands.
