Greater than one weekIt was not until I got the product did I learn that I would have to reconfig my router to separately name each band (2.4/5) and then be faced with spending an hour reconnecting all the other wireless devices in my home to reconnect to the new names--everything from thermostat to multiple laptops/tablet, phones, tvs, etc. For 3 weeks of turning off xmas lites from inside with Alexa, adding this device would have been a terrible trade-off of my time to use. Vendor does have good detailed instructions in box but does not make it clear on AMZ site, you will obsolete all the rest of your wifi network

> 3 dayThis was exactly what I was looking for. Only issue I had was with connecting to the 2.4 mHz signal from my router instead of the 5 mHz, since this device only supports 2.4. Ultimately, it was a quick google search to figure out how to resolve this & the fix for me was to connect this device to my guest WiFi, which I set to 2.4 only. Connected no problem after that and works like a charm with my Echo devices. I was also able to use this device to schedule a routine in the Alexa app, so they come on at dusk and go off at midnight each night which saves me from even having to tell Alexa to turn on/off. Its totally automated my outdoor decorations this year. Brilliant! I imagine it would work well for other outdoor uses, too, like fairy lights, sprinklers, rope lights, etc.

Greater than one weekWhat a great product! I bought it for my outside Christmas lights. I use to have to go outside and plug them in and then go back outside to unplug them. Now Alexa does all of the work without even opening a door! I love this product and would definitely recommend! Easy to set up.

> 3 dayThe plug appears to be well made. I installed it outside to plug in ice melting mats on the walkway to our gym. Its great to be able to turn them on or off from the house (our gym is in the backyard) depending on the weather without having to go outside. Our router is in the house and it set up just fine. Only minor complaint I have is I wish I knew which outlet is plug one and plug two. Seems like they could indicate this in the directions or on the plug itself.

> 3 dayOverall, its much better than TP-link mini plugs. I used this wireless plug to control christmas lights outside my house, and the wireless connection and range were very good even though it only connects via 2.4 ghz. The Android phone app is OK, the power button setting was redundant, and few times I had to reset the timer program. Once the everything was set, it worked reliably.

> 3 dayEDIT: It is now 1 year after owning it. I brought it back out for my Christmas lights and it’s not working. I can’t connect it to the wifi, therefore it’s not working.... don’t know what to do. I bought this for all of our Christmas decorations outside and for our Christmas tree inside. It’s easy to set up since you just download the app hold down the button on the plug and it connects. We have really slow internet (15gb) and it installed perfectly. I set up a timer for all of the lights to turn on at 5pm and shut off at 12am. It works great! I do wish it was easier to set up a schedule for each plug.. other then that it’s a great product!

> 3 dayAfter less than a month, the weather resistant plug quit working after a rain. To the company’s credit, they quickly replaced it with no problems. I placed the second one in a plastic bag to protect it and it continues to work well. Connected easily to WIFI.
