> 24 hourIm writing this review 4 years later, after a big trip where this potty, which we call The Throne, saved the day. We got it during our first kids upotty training, where its convenience made it a part of our daily lives. With all our kids now solidly potty trained, it no longer gets daily visits, but its a total pinch-hitter for the odd-ball situations.

> 24 hourI only removed a star bc it can be a little wobbly when placed on the toilet. Otherwise this is such a great potty, it comes with a wet bag, and folds down flat for travel. We bought small trash can liners to go with it instead of purchasing the OXO potty liners.

> 24 hourThis product is great for anyone with young children. I’ve used this in the trunk of my suv many times. I’d rather travel with my own potty than have to use a Johnny-on-the spot or a dirty public restroom any day. It folds almost flat and is easy to clean. I reuse plastic store bags with a feminine napkin stick in the bottom to absorb liquid if I can’t immediately discard the bag. This prevents it from spilling in my trunk.

> 24 hourI was a bit nervous to potty train my two year old simply because I did not want to be stuck at the house or by a toilet all day. This little foldable toilet has been simply perfect. We hike, explore, and adventure all over Colorado and this toilet just goes along with us. I easily hook it onto our hiking backpack with a large carabiner and keep it in the back of my car. I have seriously thought of buying a couple more to keep in our bike pouch and my husbands truck. It is easy to wipe down with a baby wipe or wash off with water. The lets fold in and out so you can throw it on a regular big toilet to give them a smaller seat when in a public restroom. The bags it comes with were great, but I have honestly used doggy poop bags or grocery sacks as well just fine. Thank you, OXO for allowing us to adventure accident free!

> 24 hourThis potty folds to be compact, fits in one of the pockets in her backpack. Comes with a thick plastic storage bag and some bags w the absorption pad. My 3 year old (50% percentile) sits very comfortably on it when I set it up on the floor. Haven’t tried it on the toilet yet since she is very comfortable by itself. It makes travel with a potty training toddler so much easier!

> 24 hourI was about to start potty training by 2 year old (27 months) and a friend recommended this product. YOU NEED IT. After the first several days of potty training, my daughter was doing well and we wanted to begin to take walks to the playground etc, and within the first two weeks we were going out to dinner at restaurants and taking an hour long drive to a vineyard in our area. When your child says they need to go, you need to be able to be able to give them a success, and this potty ensures you are never out of luck. We used the bags and had her sit on the potty in our trunk, in a parking lot, at a park, and then when we arrive to our destination, the potty folds open to become a seat that you can set on a public adult toilet! Then you just tie off the bag (if you used one) and toss it like a doggy bag. It is easy to clean and folds up small enough to fit in a diaper bag. I will recommend to every friend who is potty training!

> 24 hourLike the concept. Wobbly on the toilet. Have not used it on a trip etc. Seems like it would be fine for that. If I take it to a public restroom I will have to find something to put it into for carrying. If you use it with no toilet recommend getting the plastic bags.

> 24 hourSo there I was...in the middle of Ohio on our first roadtrip with the toddler, also 6 months pregnant with kid #2. Drinking lots of water because duh, I was pregnant. Suddenly traffic on the Interstate comes to a screeching halt....and we are nowhere near an exit. My pregnant self immediately decides it has to pee....and HOW! Waze helpfully tells me its 45 minutes to the next exit - no bueno. Pregnant self is insistent...and then I remember I have this awesome toilet seat in the back of the car for our son to use. I did not hesitate to grab that sucker out of the trunk and bring it up to the passenger seat - because of course, we are stuck in a sea of semis and other vehicles at this point, so I cant get out and use it roadside. You have truly not lived until youve tried to levitate your 6-month pregnant butt above a travel car seat in front of your son and significant other. Anyway, it wasnt even all that hard to maneuver, its just that I was laughing so hard at the situation, which of course only served to exacerbate said situation. Point is, it works great as a kids travel potty, especially in unfamiliar hotels with unfamiliar toilets, as well as in Cracker Barrel parking lots. But dont discount its usefulness for adults in need as well. :)

> 24 hourWe used this travel potty daily at our beach weekend trip. We set it up inside our pop up beach canopy and voila - we had a clean place for the toddlers to use the restroom. I paired it with these bags. Potty Liners Pack of 30 Liners -https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08X4W7P22?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Made toddler potty time while we were at the beach the least of our worries.

> 24 hourMy 3 year old refuses to use a commercial toilet, so this made leaving the house with her pretty tough. This folding potty and the 4 gallon bags I use to line it are really easy to fit in my large purse and for shorter trips, we just leave it in the car. I open it on the floor of the backseat and she does her business in the car, using the door handle to help pull herself up into standing. Weve had this potty for a year and it has been indispensible. Ive even used it a few times especially during the initial phases of the COVID crisis when I didnt want to use a public restroom. I just buy rolls of 4 gallon Ruffies from the hardware store and double-line the potty. I used to use compostable bags but the urine would eat through it in very little time. When we visit Grandpa, I set up the portable potty for my daughter in the bathroom and at the end of the day I pour the contents into the toilet, knot up the bag, and toss it. Now my daughter is 4 and she still uses this potty for our outings..airport...park...you name it. We have a number of different small potties in our bathrooms, flip down toilet seat lids etc. for inside our home, but this is the only potty we need for our girl when we leave our house. I had a ring but holding it still while lifting my kid onto a large toilet doesnt give her any independence when we are visiting our relatives. I recommend this folding potty for all parents of young children!!
